Kicked off the ‘Courage to Dream’ tour a graphic novel that presents the Holocaust through a lens of surreal visions and unwavering hope. 📖✨ Together with Andrés Vera Martínez, we’ve created a multifaceted narrative that pays homage to the tradition of resistance and uplift. It’s been a joy sharing and discussing this literary work with you all. Mark your calendars and join the conversation for my next stops.

Ah, the “age-old” debate: Kindle or physical book? 📖✨

There’s something undeniably magical about the tangible pages of a book – the weight of the words in your hands, the satisfying flip of pages, and the freedom to annotate and truly make it yours.

I admit, I’m a bit old school in that regard. But I know the convenience of a Kindle has its own charm! (Like seeing all your highlighted quotes in one area, and being able to basically carry around 100 books at a time… the illusion of choice!!)

25 years ago, ‘It’s Ok to Say No to Cigarettes and Alcohol’ came to life, intertwining my passion for storytelling with a crucial message of resilience, beautifully illustrated by Neal Yamamoto. Just as I sought to weave strands of empowerment through the pages of ROXY, this book laid the groundwork, teaching young minds the strength found in choice. Today, as we celebrate its 25th anniversary, the journey continues, ever-committed to nurturing a future of informed, strong individuals. 📚✨
