I am very blessed to have a mind and hands that move at the speed of light and can run multiple series at the same time. If I get stuck on one (which I do) I jump to another or write a short story until it passes. I usually get my inspiration halfway through the other project and jot some notes down to get me started again when it is time. (less)

Don't quit your job to do it, but give it a try in your spare time. It is art and if you are meant to be an author you will get all you need just from putting pen to paper. Some of the most satisfied writers I know are not professionals. They just write for themselves and enjoy it tremendously. (less)
