Faiz Yusuf was born in 1999 in the city of Patna in Bihar, India. Currently pursuing Economics Honours from Ashoka University, he is inclined towards writing, reading and music. He wrote his first book at the age of 12 and since then have got an opportunity to get three books published under his name including “Pictures of Life”, “The Farrago” and "Supernova". Throughout his school life, he has taken part in numerous inter-school literary competitions, being a part of Times of India Junior Editor Board as well as bagging prizes in various National Youth Parliaments and MUNs. You can turn experiences and emotions into art and that's literally the best outcome. The good part about being an author, on the other hand, would be to always have ears when you want to say something. You may want to write for yourself but I have always wanted it to be for the people and be more about sharing instances and experiences. As an author, I get to do that.(less)

Old Habits Die Hard

Commonly, the colour ‘Red’ has two ideas strung with it. On one hand, it symbolizes love and on the other, it stands for danger. And when I go on to fixate on the picture of you in the red dress you wore last summer, I don’t know which notion of the colour to go with.
