life update |I vacay with my online friend|

Hola readers!

Life has been an insane series of meeting my up with my faraway friends. I met Jess (read that post here), am currently planning a little road trip to meet my long-time friend of ten years Kara (read her beautiful blog here).
And this past week I went on my fourth family vacay with my second longtime of seven years, online turned real life friend, Alyssa.

Thanks to CEF, Wonderzone.com and something called the BRC, Alyssa and I connected, not knowing each other's names or...

sorry not sorry i unfollowed you |on avoiding toxic social media|

Hola readers!

Recently I've really become upset at the turn my feed on media can take -- both what I post and what others are posting. Social media is easily a trap, sucking you into unrealistic expectations. It becomes a place of I and what I'm  dealing with, what I'm doing, who I'm angry at, what I, I, I, I..........
I'm learning to not follow accounts that give me unreaslitic expectations about life, whose posts focus on themselves, who act as though I and the rest of the worl...

it's okay to doubt God *gasp*

Hola readers!

Sometimes I doubt God.
Sometimes I don't know if I can trust Him.
Sometimes I'm afraid to trust a God when there is so much evil and darkness in the world. Sometimes I wonder how I can trust a God when hell exists, when innocent people get murdered. I want to know why babies die, why cancer is real, why suicide is even possible, leaving us people on earth to mourn the loss.

Here's a simple message that I have learned, a rule of Christianity I am about to break:

It's okay to doubt God...

why being a published author scared the heck out of me

Hola readers!
My finger hovered over the "publish" button. I took a deep breath and clicked.
My book spiraled through cyber space.
Less than 24 hours I was a published author.
And I was never more scared.

People find it amusing that my extrovert self stumbles over her words when trying to describe herself as an author. I struggle in stating I'm now published or simply giving the description of my book. I fail to accep congrats from friends and family without getting hot and bothered.
I have struggl...

Q&A With My Aussie Friend |A Vlog|

Hola readers!
I had the huge, huge, privilege of hosting my Aussie friend Jessica at my house these past two weeks.
Some of you may know her from her blog Apples of Gold where she use to blog or her IG where she has an amazing account. We met through comments and e-mails and became good friends.
When she told me that she was coming to America and we could try and meet up, I was ecstatic. Meeting this amazing soul was one of the best things I have ever done.
She is as beautiful in the real w...

HAPPY BOOK BIRTHDAY TO ME

Hola you wonderful human!

Today
is the day.
I think I might flip out.
Or freak out.
Or just die of happiness.
Or really go insane because there are far too many emotions in this girl's head.

I mean there's the downer that the physical copy is not YET on Amazon. *Ahem* I should have read the fine print about it taking up to 72 hours to publish.
BUT that will come SOON.
Very soon.
AND
the e-book is currently up for grabs.

IT IS THE BROKEN PRINCE'S BIRTHDAY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
June third is here.

Faith Is For Weak People || Book Review

Hola readers!

How do I respond when people ask about my faith? Do I know how to respond when people question me? Is there proof God exists? Why does a good God allow evil?
I love reading books that back up what I believe and love, and was eager to get my hands on a copy of Faith is for Weak People by Ray Comfort who answers about twenty of these type of questions in a plain and simple tone.
We need to be prepared to answer these questions and to answer them in a way people can understand.
At the...
