your assumptions about me |my response|

Hola readers!
I've asked you as my readers to assume some things about me...here are my responses....

you like tacos
YES!!!! I am obsessed with tacos...and if you haven't had taco salad then you have missed out on a very important food staple in my life.
you read a lot of books
I normally read two books at once and I am currently on my 22nd book in 2019. For some that is a lot, for others I've just begun to catch up with them. I'll let you decide whether or not I read a lot of books.
ha...

no-fail [easy] ways to let fellow humans know they are loved

Hola readers!Sometimes loving people is hard.
Really hard.
We look around us and just give up because it can get complicated and messy and stressful. You can get hurt from loving fellow brokens. It's not easy.
But it can be.
I thought about this last evening and realized how sometimes it's the little things that can mean the most. And that's when I made this list:

no fail [easy] ways to let fellow humans know that they are loved Smile For me,  letting the world know they are loved has bee...

Assume Something About Me + Cover Reveal Thank Yous

Hola readers!

First off, I've seen a little trend around the blogging universe and I thought I would follow behind (a little late to the band wagon, but here nonetheless). I would like you to assume some things about me.
Go ahead.
I want you as my readers and just comment some assumptions you have about me. Be honest. Don't be afraid to be real. Don't be afraid to be silly.
What do you assume about me?
I've been blogging for over seven years and I'm learning it's easy to create a different version...

The Broken Prince COVER REVEAL

Hola readers!

I am super excited to announce the reveal of The Broken Prince's cover! I worked hard on this baby, even choosing to design the cover myself. I actually regret it a bit now, not being a designer by any means of the word and simply choosing to design it because I honestly already spent a lot of money for edits and blog tour stuff.
However, after the very long process of learning the works, I realized how much easier paying someone would have been -- both on my brain and my sanity.
B...

loving fellow brokens, hurts

I use to be weighed down by my own brokenness, consumed by my failings and mistakes... but as I have learned to heal and let go and accept grace in the fall...I now find myself weighted down by the brokenness of the world.
When you find something like healing after years of darkness, you want to share that healing with others. And I've always been that person who wanted to make someone "all better." To see someone hurting and in pain breaks me. I hate when I can't do something, when I'm left t...

The Broken Prince Aesthetics + Story Snippets

Hola readers!
You asked for it and I'm terrible at it...introducing The Broken Prince aesthetics + story snippets.
I am awful at digging up good quotes and finding eye candy photos but I love sharing more of my book with you so I will give this a shot.
I'm planning a cover reveal soon (*inset internal screaming*) and I cannot wait to share even more in the next few weeks!!!
I have been crazy busy the last while trying to write, prepare to publish and work 30 hours a week. My brain is going a litt...

a cloud by day and a fire by night |book review|

Hola readers!
I tend to write reviews all in one lump just because I get motivated...plus I tend to read more than one book at a time and finish them around the same time. I like to mix-up my genres and read a little nonfiction with my fiction and that's what has been happening lately.
A Cloud By Day and a Fire By Night from A.W Tozer is a collection of sermons answering the question, "how do I know God's will for my life?"
Making decisions at any age is hard and with often times simple language...

new ya fiction with a fresh cover and a somewhat feminist plot |book review|

Hola readers!

When I was younger I sadly lacked good, solid, YA fiction -- especially in the fantasy genre. So when BookLook offers me some for free (in exchange for an honest review of course), I'm always up for it.
Sadly I haven't read as much Mary Weber as I would like but I was completely excited for To Best The Boys.
So far I've read nearly 20 books (according to Goodreads) and it was nice to add this beauty to my list...
Situated in a place where boys are held higher than girls, sixteen yea...

SEVEN YEAR BLOGAVERSARY |Vlog+Seven Year Recap|

Hola readers!

I am a day late but work kept me busy yesterday without a whole lot of time to write. BUT I am super excited to announce that it is official. Last year, around this time, a thirteen year old girl started a little blog called, Saved by Grace.
I have since sent many of my little posts to the archives of blogger.
I have changed a lot since then.
I'm not the same person.
But I will say -- blogging is in my DNA. I cannot imagine not having this blog to come and write, to become refreshed,...

this is why i write

I've always been a writer.
It's implanted into my very DNA, my breath, my thought. I cannot imagine my life without words. They have been a part of me for so long I would not know what to do without them.
People have asked me what inspires me to write, why I write, what I write.

I once began to write because I had no hobby. I liked stories. Stories flowed through me before I could even spell. I read books like I breathed. I spent summers laying on the grass reading book after book, taken new wor...
