Good morning everyone. I do so look forward to any and all reviews from my readers. Thank you all for making me feel welcome among you. I do have a question if any one can help with an answer. In this time of internet scams everywhere, I am wondering if Online Book Club is associated with Goodreads? While attempting to find local book clubs to promote my book to, I came across their website and read the posts. It failed to show it's price list until after I filled in my email address. Upon seeing the prices, I chose to use them at a later time when I could better afford it. Since then I have received daily emails from them wanting me to submit the book and pay the fees. This guy, Scott, claims to be the originator of online book club. No two of the emails are exactly alike. At this point with over a month of daily emails, it's concerning. If any of you know any information as to the legitimacy of this subject, please reply. Thanks.

Island Jet 370 by L. A. Smith

Good morning all. Yesterday I was startled as through tear filled eyes I read the first review posted by one of my giveaway winners. I am once again reminded that perception is everything. In her "unbiased opinion" she basically says that the opinions of the other reviewers were coached or false. She is mistaken. I have in no way attempted to sway the opinions of anyone period. It was evident she took a dislike for the actions of some of the main characters which swayed her opinion of the entire plot. Perception, I believe, comes from the life experiences one lives. There have been multi-year TV series in which the main characters were guilty of multiple murders yet still held in the hearts of viewers such as "The Sopranos" or "Sons of Anarchy". Granted, I in no way expect this book to reach the heights of these two storylines. However, the concept is basically the same. Perception is also what caused many of my readers to see this book as being very detailed and well designed as opposed to this lady seeing it as an outline of sorts. While her take on Island Jet 370 was not what I had hoped for, I hope it will spark debate. Please read the book for yourselves and decide which perspective matches your own. Although we seem to stand on opposite sides of this imaginary fence, I would like to thank this reader for her input. She in absolutely entitled to her opinion as are the other readers who have offered their "unbiased opinions" as well. Thank you all.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending my first ever book club meeting. It was wonderful to hear 8 individuals discuss Island Jet 370 saying it held them captive until the end. They each had different takes on who their favorite characters were and which parts of the plot they liked the best. Everyone liked the book and requested a sequel. I was very honored!
I am anxiously awaiting the reviews from the five winners of my recent giveaway. I hope they have the same reactions as the members of the book club I attended yesterday. I hope to be invited to other book club meetings as the buzz begins to spread about Island Jet 370. Thank you all for everything and may God bless you.
