How To Fix Writer's Doubt

When I was younger I wrote for hours every day, and I was very proud of every word. And whenever I didn't write, I didn't feel guilty about it, because I knew I was a good writer. I knew I was pretty brilliant, actually.

Authortube Newbie Tag

Time for the Authortube Newbie Tag!

I filmed this many months ago but never posted it because it's one of those videos that make me feel super self conscious. But I don't feel like answering all these questions again, so here we are trying to be brave. For the sake of laziness.

At least I had a fun time editing this video and laughing at my stupid face :)

Have a happy day!

How to write a scene that keeps the reader turning the pages

We have 11 years left on Earth

Lincoln at night. Don't know who owns the photo, but not me anyway :)
I can't wait to be living here, seeing this sky, walking these streets.

My home city used to fill me with joy and wonder, but now all I see is construction site after construction site, a murky sky, trash covered streets and soggy, gray snow.

Lincoln probably isn't the most perfect place on Earth, but I can't wait to escape there and find out.
The fact that scientists say our planet only has 11 more years left has occupie...

How to write when you don't feel like it

This is not where I tell you to have an outline, find inspiration in music or making a pinterest board. These are writers block tips that always work no matter what because they make you actually write instead of putting your attention elsewhere and essentially making you procrastinate with great, creative excuses. Now let's get motivated to write!

10 years of Em

Ten years ago I was a 10-year-old swedish kid with new bangs (didn't we all want to be hannah montana at some point?) that looked awful because my hair wanted to be curly.

So beanies were my thing. And stripes were also my thing. Glasses were not my thing because they were annoying and so ugly, ugh.

But most importantly, I had just watched Pirates of the Caribbean for the first time; our parents hadn't bough the newest Harry Potter movie yet so I cheated and only read The Half-Blood Prince beca...
