Sweet Summer SCiL Times
This is another one of those photos only posts, because I don't know what to say. I miss this and I'm glad it's over, but I'm even more happy that I went and got all these new friends and memories that I really couldn't expect to get. It was an amazing summer.

København Dag 3
Day three was pretty uneventful. Our flight left from Kastrup at 18:00, so we took the bus into the city in the morning with all our luggage, explored a little bit here and there, took the metro towards Kastrup, went to see the harbor and then we were already on the plane, on our way back to Finland.
A fun thing happened at the beach, which I can't stop laughing about.

København Dag 2
On day two we met some adorable little animals at Zoo Copenhagen, and in the evening we explored Tivoli Gardens. My sister was super exhausted after all that, so she went back to Ny Ellebjerg to sleep, but I ventured off on my own to find the chapel where the YSA Family home evening was held. I didn't get lost on the way there, although I usually do, and I was almost there in time. It was a super fun evening. We made preparations and decorations for the Golden Days happening in Copenhagen in...

København Dag 1
After Festinord in Malmö, me and my sister took a train to Copenhagen. I got us Copenhagen Cards so that I could show her all the touristy sights and cool stuff around the city (I've already seen all that stuff when I was 12 and visited Copenhagen for the first time :D). We stayed at a really nice woman's place near Ny Ellebjerg and spent every day exploring the city, and every evening cuddling with her super fluffy cat. It was a magical week, but here's what we saw on day 1:

Day in the Nowhere
I wanted to write a poem about flowers and otters and secret passages to fairy kingdoms, but I was too tired to have any rhymes in me.
So today you can just have these pictures, and maybe they can speak for themselves.

Beach Please
I haven't been the mermaid I usually am this summer.
But that doesn't mean that this summer has been any worse.
I've been collecting little sweet memories like sea shells on the beach.
And although it's been rocky at times,
I wouldn't change what I have for anything in the world.
Because these memories are mine, and mine only.
And I'm proud of what I can create even when I'm not the mermaid I usually am.

So there was this YSA event in Tampere, which I organized with my cuz, and some other cool people who came and helped us out. I played music all evening and had some sick moves on the dance floor.
This blog post is stupid. But I had a lot of fun, and I want to remember this day.
So here you go.

Slumber (LITTLE LIFE UPDATE)
A fog stretched itself from the valleys onto the hills, clawing the leafy trees. The sun was far gone behind the distant mountains, and there was a howl to the wind. Not its usual sound. Not mellow, or kindly, but prickly with an urgency of thousand restless souls.
Their arms stretched out from the mist, but they were slaves to the night, and human eyes weren't ready for the darkness' horrors. Not yet.
While tendrils of black smoke were rising, and black waves crashing, the goddess of death pla...

Hey... Why Ya Lookin So Sad?
Solitude... Drawing daydreams. Picking flowers. Lighting candles. Turning pages. Scribbling stories.
Solitude smells like an evening breeze through tree crowns and sparkles like candlelight reflected in rainy windows.
And fairy dust.
Always fairy dust.

100th Blog Post
I have been mindlessly flipping pages in different books, not really trying to read but just relishing in the idea of reading. Words floating in front of my eyes with new worlds, endless possibilities, and tearful farewells.I chose this blue book for this picture not because I've read it yet--you know how it is when you plan on reading too many books.
I chose it because this summer marks the end of an era.
Eight years ago my family moved from a little town in the cow-smelling countryside of Swe...
