Georgia basketball players attack referee

A referee needed 30 stitches after being brutally attacked by a bunch of eighth-graders at a youth basketball game in Georgia, according to TMZ.

The mayhem was captured on video Sunday at the “Love Of The Game” event at the Stronghold Christian Church. TMZ reported that multiple players from one team and spectators at the game appeared to chase the referee before pinning him to the floor, punching and kicking him.

Kenneth Tarver, the founder of KB Sports, which helped host the youth tournament in Lithonia (about 30 minutes from Atlanta), said he doesn’t know what caused the incident.

Coaches appear to confront a ref at the game.TwitterTarver said he spoke with the referee after the scuffle and that the official is expected to make a full recovery. He added that the team involved in the incident has been banned from future events, which will include increased security.

“The referee appears outnumbered from the very start,” Paris Cherry, a former pro basketball player who is now a youth basketball development coach, told WSB-TV. “I was appalled. It was a very scary video. To see the adults instigate and then the kids follow up to the point where it was the kids who chased down the referee at the end of the video, it’s just disgusting. And it seems like there wasn’t any adult trying to break it up.”

According to TMZ, the incident is still under investigation by the Dekalb County Police Department, which responded to the scene in reference to an assault.

“There’s a saying when the devil ignores you, then you know you’re doing something wrong,” Washington said during a livestream hosted by The Wrap this past Saturday.
The actor went on, “The devil goes, ‘Oh no leave him alone, he’s my favorite’ (laughs). Conversely, when the devil comes at you, maybe it’s because he’s trying to do something right. And for whatever reason the devil got a hold of him that night.”
While Washington did not reveal exactly what it was that he told Smith, he did say that after the actor slapped Chris Rock, the “only solution was prayer.”

Magic Johnson wanted to fight Stern over race

Howard Stern has more recently cozied up to the progressive establishment, repeating his desire for COVID-19 austerity, but there was once a time that his jokes were so off-color and insensitive that Magic Johnson wanted to “hit” him.

Johnson goes over this in his upcoming Apple TV+ docuseries, “They Call Me Magic”, which debuts on April 22 and was covered by Variety.

The former Lakers great’s issues with Stern are discussed within the context of “The Magic Hour”, an ill-fated syndicated talk show that Johnson hosted in 1998 that was universally panned.

Stern was apparently particularly merciless in mocking the show on his radio program, and Johnson’s producers responded by booking him as a guest.

Stern opened his appearance by telling Johnson that he was a great basketball player but his talk show needed work.

“The thing you need to work on, in my estimation, seriously, is you’ve got to stop trying to talk like the white man,” Stern told Johnson. “It’s the truth.”

Democrats in Florida are a minority and it could get even worse for them later this year once the GOP-controlled state legislature begins its redistricting process.

This could make it even more difficult for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to keep her iron grip on the U.S. House and puts her speakership in jeopardy given Republicans are the clear favorites to take back the lower chamber in November’s midterms.

Democrats fear that Republicans will use the state’s massive population growth, especially along the key I‑4 corridor, which grew the most over the past decade, as a means of eliminating some of their congressional seats the way Democrats are planning to blot out GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger’s seat in blue Illinois.

“To understand how Florida’s redistricting process will dramatically reshape the state’s political lines and congressional map, look at Democratic Rep. Darren Soto’s district along the fabled I‑4 corridor,” the outlet reported.

Steve Bannon’s ‘Consigliere’ Talks

Alexandra Preate, a longtime aide and spokesperson for former President Donald Trump’s ex-chief strategist Steve Bannon, was interviewed Tuesday by the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the United States Capitol. Preate’s interview comes as the committee is preparing to hold public hearings about its investigation.

Bannon, who has had an infamously tempestuous relationship with Trump, worked as one of the former’s president’s top strategists during both the 2016 campaign and in the White House. The committee has previously expressed interest in Bannon’s involvement in a “war room” at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington D.C., where Trump allies strategized ways to fight the 2020 election. Did Biden’s Millions Really Come From Book Sales?

In the week prior to the presidential election, I wrote a piece that asked the question, “Where Is Hunter Biden’s Money?” It was an important question then, even more so now. Given the legacy media’s recent validation of Hunter’s laptop that discussed a slice of equity planned for the “Big Guy” in a deal that involved an entity controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), we should know if any money from it (or other foreign sources) ended up in Joe Biden’s pocket, but we don’t.

Recall that despite then-presidential candidate Biden having bragged that he had released his tax returns with what his team called “a historic level of transparency,” the truth is that he only released his individual returns. Those returns provided no detail regarding the source of most of his income, dollars that flowed to him and his wife Jill by way of S‑corporations they set up shortly after his departure from the office of vice president. Special counsel in Hunter case is urgent

David Weiss, the US attorney for Delaware, seems to be leading a genuine investigation of Hunter Biden: Prosecutors taking the case to a grand jury the other day even asked a witness about “the big guy,” for whom Hunter and his partners had reserved a 10% cut of one potential (and lucrative) deal.

No one familiar with the case has suggested who the “big guy” might be if not now-President Joe Biden, and at least one of the partners has confirmed it was Joe.

Then, too, Weiss is a veteran of the Delaware office, appointed US attorney in early 2018 by President Donald Trump — not a political hack. The only thing at all questionable about his Hunter investigation is why it has taken so long, when the probe actually began long before the last election. Hunter’s bank records on his dealings with the Bank of China, for example, got subpoenaed back in May 2019.

For the long wait, you have to assume the blame rests with his superiors in Washington. It would’ve been standard procedure to hold off making …
