Championship Saturday: A Lesson for Progressive Socialists
First of all, I wish to express my sincere condolences to the Bush family upon the passing of George HW Bush, a man deeply committed to cause and country.
And, now on to the thoughts I penned for you yesterday before the sad news broke of President Bush’s passing:
There is something happening today — actually, it started last night — that is truly American. It is something that provides us all, especially progressive socialists, a true lesson to be learned about America. It is Championship Sa...

Lessons from Raking Leaves
Okay, before y’all start scratching your heads, bear with me and read this missive to its end. Here in Dallas, we have seen several different seasons in the last two weeks. We have had a serious cold front come through and now it is a very warm wind from the south and the temperatures are in the low 70s. We are certainly in the Fall season, and that means the leaves are changing colors and falling. I took some time this week to rake some of the leaves so as to not have them aggregate too much...

Islamists in the Wake of Synagogue Shooting
As we shared with y’all, we spent Thanksgiving with our oldest daughter, Aubrey, in Wheeling, West Virginia. The Friday afterward, infamously known as “Black Friday,” we drove up to Pittsburgh for the day. But, the first place we went was to Squirrel Hill to pay our respects and regards at the Tree of Life Synagogue where 11 congregants were killed and several others wounded by a virulent anti-Semite. As we were there, it was just hard to believe, truly unfathomable, that someone would enter...

The Quest to Build a Master Race
I remember the 1979 James Bond film called “Moonraker,” starring Roger Moore. If you do not recall that movie, it was the one with the infamous character Jaws, played by Richard Kiel. The antagonist in the film, Hugo Drax, had a diabolical plan to destroy life on earth and start anew with a genetically engineered master race. It was kinda like Drax saw himself as a reincarnated maniacal Noah who had developed pairs of culturally diverse, perfect individuals to re-populate earth. Drax’s plan w...

New Congress and the Border Crisis
I think we should stay on the topic of illegal immigration for a little while. This is a very telling issue to delineate between constitutional conservatives and progressive socialists.
Just this past Sunday, there were two leftists who made it clear they are somewhat challenged when it comes to our national sovereignty and laws. On “Face the Nation,” Maine Democrat Senator Angus King was under the delusion that there isn’t a crisis at our border. He scoffed at the idea that there was an “inv...

The Facts About Gun Control
I have stated this before, and it is worth repeating, facts to progressive socialists are like sunlight to vampires. In both cases, it causes an apoplectic meltdown. Now, if you have not been paying attention, the new House Democrat majority has clearly stated that one of their top priorities is gun control. As a matter of fact, we just had far-left California Congressman Eric Swalwell make an absurd assertion about gun confiscation. Remember, this Nation was started because those Massachuset...

Dire Geopolitical Threats and Proposed Actions
Today is known in college football circles as “rivalry week.” This is that very special weekend when heated interstate, or traditional, contests are played out. You can forget records because these games are all about pride and bragging rights. Many of the players lining up on rivalry week know each other well, probably played on the same high school football team. The intensity of these games are like no other . . . just look at what happened during the Mississippi State vs. Mississippi game...

Tolerance? We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Tolerance
I do have to start this missive by asking a question. They call today “Black Friday,” is that racist? I mean what exactly is that connotative meaning here? Hey, no worries, I jest. I couldn’t care less what they call today. I am enjoying some good ol’ fashioned American college football. Doggone it, it’s hard to believe, another college football season is winding to an end!!!! Oh well, such are the seasons in our lives, and I will just have to tolerate another bad football season for my Tenne...
