Shannon Hale giveaway

The Erasing Time Book launch went great and I will tell you all about it once Techno Bob gets back in to town and downloads the pictures from the digital camera. I'm pretty sure all three of my teenage offspring already know how to download the pictures, but they are claiming ignorance to get out of the work.

So in the meantime I'm going to giveaway the signed Shannon Hale books that I meant to giveaway last week but forgot about.  Shannon (or Newbury Shannon as I sometimes refer to her) is an awesome writer and a lot of fun too.  I'll give away a paperback copy of Austenland here and a paperback of Goosegirl on http://www.cjhillbooks.blogspot.com/

Austenland is about a girl who goes to a Jane Austin inspired resort where everyone dresses and pretends to be characters in the stories.  I think this place should exist. Erasing Time book launch and Book Trailer

My new release, Erasing Time comes out August 28th!

 You can buy it any of your finer bookstores. (If your local one doesn't carry it, tell them they won't qualify as a finer bookstore until they order it, which they should do immediately.) If you're in the Phoenix area, I would love to see you at the book launch on:

I'll talk about vital and important topics such as:

The future (Will the government want to kill you?  Ha! Do you really doubt it?)
Secret symbols in store logos: (Seriously, they're in a bunch. I'll show you some.)

Erasing Time Giveaway

Okay, first off--I forgot that I still have a couple of signed Shannon Hale books to give away. (Thank you intrepid reader Alyssa for reminding me, as I am going on so little sleep that it is amazing I remember anything.) But those books will have to wait because I promised you yesterday the Erasing Time giveaway and a trailer that goes poof! (Well, not literally.)  Soo, I'll give away Austinland and Goose Girl after my book launch--which is next Tuesday, the 28th at Changing Hands in Tempe AZ. 7:00 pm.

I'll talk about cool dystopian stuff like how the government will want to kill you and secret signs in logos. You can also get a cool glitter tattoo.  I'm contemplating on whether or not to dye my hair blue--as that is going to be a popular hair color four hundred years from now.  Time travel is optional. Hope you can make it!

Erasing Time countdown/ My Double Life Giveaway

Welcome to another day of my book a day giveaway. It's only six more short days until Erasing Time comes out. You can buy a copy at the book launch on Aug 28th, at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, AZ. I'll be there, and probably be coherent at the time--but that sort of depends on how my Echo in Time revisions are going.

Today I'll be giving away a copy of an awesome book--My Double Life. Yep we are back to the book that started off the giveaway (sort of--it was part of a blog hop) which means that unless I've forgotten one of my titles that I meant to giveaway and didn't (entirely possible--I have had that whole lack of sleep thing going for me) Then the book I will be putting on the lineup tomorrow night will be Erasing Time--and I'll be showing you the very cool trailer I had made for it. (There is fire. Things poof!)

Until then, you'll have to satisfy yourself with living the secret life of a rock star and having a famous rock star boyfriend.  You know, the rough life.

And yes, I'm starting to worry about the fact that I'm only 1/3 of the way through my revisions for the sequel (Due Aug 31) and have yet to put together my presentation for the book launch. (Aug 28th, at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, AZ.) But you will want to see it. It will be cool.

Today I'll be giving away a copy of one of my earlier books (read between the lines--not the best cover) Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Free Throws. Although there is no time travel or dragons in this book, it will still make you laugh.

(Or at your local book store if you don't happen to live in Arizona--and as it is currently the same temperature as stir-fry, I don't blame you for not living in Arizona.)

Today I'll be giving away a copy of one of my favorite books--Slayers. (Again, modesty isn't my strong suit.) If you've read the book, leave a comment telling me whether you're team Jesse or team Dirk. I'm really curious about that, as I haven't completely decided who Tori will end up with in the third book. Yeah, yeah, I know I should know those sorts of things when I start a series--and I thought I did, but now maybe I'm changing my mind. Not sure.
