Meet Annie Douglass Lima, author of Heartsong

Changing the world doesn’t have to be through the ‘big’ stuff

Way back in 2012, I wrote a post on this blog about ‘storming the castle’. That post was supposed to be the beginning of sharing with readers the journey I’ve taken over the last 23 years with the Hysterectomy Association.

The problem was, back then, I was too shy, too worried about what other people would think, how they would judge me based on my (perceived) lack of success with my little social enterprise. Back then, I set myself up and then let myself down. But that was then!

The Beeble has landed….
