I started out wanting to be a librarian and even did my work experience in my local library. I love the feel and smell of books and get a high when I have a new one to get my teeth into. I almost ended up as a librarian when I went to library school at Loughborough Uni and studied information science.

I am the author of six books and one short story including Woman on the Edge of Reality, LinkedIn Made Easy and 101 Handy Hints for a Happy Hysterectomy (no, I'm not joking!). I'm also the founder and CEO of the Hysterectomy Association.

My mantra is “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”

Linda Parkinson-Hardman Gosh, what a lovely compliment to be paid Lucinda and thank you so much. I'm just getting to grips with Goodreads so still trying to find my way around and get used to the way it works so I'll probably stumble around for a while. I think the whole thing appeals to the fact that I'm very nosy and am fascinated by what people read, what the like and why they think that way. Linda :-)
