Caerfadog Uchaf Cairn
Situated within a pastoral field on the western slopes of Braich y Gornel, Gwynedd (383m) the cairn stands out due to it size. Coflein has recorded the cairn as NPRN 288045 and considers it to be a Bronze Age monument. It is located within a prehistoric field system that includes hut circles and an alignment of cairns. However, this cairn is by far the largest possibly due to a later addition of field clearances?

Huesby Dolmen
The Dolmen of Huesby was excavated from a Round Barrow not far from the village. The barrow was used by several generations, and was surrounded by 3 rings of stones. The capstone is not original. The original, which has 112 cupmarks, is in the museum of Schloss Gottorf in Schleswig.

Beaudesert Park Standing Stone
A relatively new discovery from Simon, does anyone have any information on this stone?. One that I recently re-found in my photos from about 15 years ago. It's a 5/6 ft tall standing stone in the private grounds of Beaudesert Park Public School near Stroud. It looks like it may have been damaged and re-erected at some point. I used to regularly play in that area when I was kid 50 years ago (my family worked at the school) and don't remember it being there or at least standing back then, although had it been flat I probably wouldn't have noticed it.

This Alaska State Historic Park contains over 35 petroglyphs pecked and carved into individual bounders on the beach. Based on finds from excavations in the area some of the glyphs are estimated to be up to 8000 years old.

Cataclews Point Tumuli
There were once six tumuli here, only four now remain in this stunning Barrow Cemetery. Nearby at SW87227577 a stone cist was found at a depth of 6ft when a pound was been repaired in 1864. The cist contained two gold lunulae (see photos on our page), a bronze axe of very early Bronze-Age type (flat, without any fastening method, and with a hammer-widened edge - see photo)

Treryn Dinas
A dramatic Iron Age cliff fort on a south-pointing headland between Porthcurno and Penberth in Cornwall. The landward side is defended by three pairs of ramparts and ditches, and these are still impressive. The headland has a very narrow neck, and this is defended by a ditch and stone wall. Nearby are traces of roundhouses.
