Bridell Churchyard
CoralJackz have obtained some old records of this christianised stone from Archaeologia Cambrensis and added them to their page, link in the comments. A christianised stone located in Bridell churchyard, south of Cardigan in Pembrokeshire. About 2.5m tall, it stands in the graveyard to the rear of of St David’s Church. It may be in situ or may have originally been associated with cist graves found in the field to the west of the churchyard in the 19th century. The stone is spotted dolerite deriving from the Carn Meini in the Preseli Hills and could possibly be a reused standing stone.

Trippet Stones
Top photo: A frosty February morning shortly after dawn, catching shadows on the stones. The stones in this lovely circle are taller than average for circles in Cornwall. Only eight stones remain of what were probably twenty-eight in a circle 33m (108 feet) in diameter. They range in height between 1.2m (4 feet) and 1.6m (5 feet 2 inches), and are quite even-spaced at 3.7m (12-foot) intervals around the perimeter of the circle. The name Trippet is thought to derive from the common belief that the stones are the petrified bodies of girls who were punished for dancing on the Sabbath.

Clogherna enclosure and field walls
A small D-shaped enclosure and a series of drystone walls in Co. Donegal. The enclosure's area is defined by drystone walling that meets a rock outcrop to the East. This area is then surrounded by two more drystone walls, both of which also join the rock outcrop. The rock outcrop to the East is part of a hill, at the top of which is a ringfort and souterrain.

Please note this site is on private land so permission should be sought before visiting.. A pair of stones in Dumfries & Galloway, one of which has sadly fallen. May also go by the name of Boreland or Clugston Burn. They are now safely penned in behind wire - the fence posts can be seen from the lane that runs to the south. Hacklett Standing Stone
Smilemaker writes: I have been researching an interesting alignment of the Hacklet Stone to the midwinter solstice sunrise, when observed from the stone circle at Suidheachadh Beag Previous suggestions were that the Hacklet Strone is a toppled standing stone, however its position is, I believe, exactly as placed. The angle of the stone means that an observer of the Solstice Sunrise would see the sun rise over the left edge of the stone, then appear to 'roll' along the stone and take off into the sky - a little like a ski-jump!

A Langdysse (Long Barrow) in Præstø, size 45 x 6 x 0.8 meters. 30 kerbstones have been found at the western end of the barrow. There is also a large depression at the western end which could be the former position of another chamber that has since been lost. At the eastern end are the remains of a dolmen but only two support stones remain.
