He Has A Plan!
2TI 1:9 ESV
who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began
He has a plan for us!
God has a purpose for our lives. He has called us out and set us out for others to see. The word purpose relates directly to “shewbread”. In the temple God required the priests to showcase twelve loaves of bread, representing the twelve tribes of Israel and God’s work In their midst. The “shewbread” was simply a visual reminder of the power of God.
God has called us to be on display for all to see, not so that others will see us but that they would see God’s power and give Him glory because of His working in our lives. His purpose for me is to do a good work in my life…He will restore me and make me to be like His Son. He will take me from my brokenness and heal me. He does the same in each of us.
He does the work. Calls us to live a holy life…a life that demonstrates His mighty power and by living a holy life He sets us on display for others to see. That is our purpose…we are trophies of God’s grace and power to bring the dead to life, give sight to the blind and set the captive free.
Not a bad calling. Not a bad purpose. Not a bad reason to live victoriously.

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
We have an eternal comfort that our eternity is sealed. Our victory is assured. God's purposes for us are established and guaranteed. We can find comfort in the fact that our eternity is secure.
We also have a good hope through the grace that God the Father and Jesus His Son have demonstrated to us through an unconditional and unending love.
May this same God comfort our hearts and establish our hearts every time we share a good word or live out a good work in our days.
I pray His peace wash over and establish us today!

Out of the Darkness
1PE 2:9-10 ESV
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
He has called us out if darkness into his marvelous light! Selah! Think about it! We don’t have to stay in darkness…we have been called to live and walk in His marvelous light!!! That is my prayer for today…Father may we all get out of the darkness of our former life and step into your marvelous light. May we walk in the light so that we can fellowship with one another in Christ. May we love and be loved as Christ. May we walk in the power of the Kingdom.
