Life Update: A Very HOT Launch Party!
Hello wonderful people and happy Saturday everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful week and you’re ready to appreciate this weekend to the fullest, doing only the things that bring you joy!
We’re only six days away from Christmas and I honestly hope that this holiday season will be merry and bright! 2020 was a very hard year, but I wanna believe that we’ve left the bad times behind and things will be better from now on.
I, for one thing, have something very exciting to anticipate, for the first few days of 2021.
For those of you who’ve been following me for the past couple of years now, you know that I am a huge fan of Bree Barton, the author of the Heart of Thorns series. Last year, I was honoured and privileged enough to read the second book of the series, Tears of Frost, before it was actually released, and at the beginning of 2020, I received a signed paperback edition of Heart of Thorns and a signed hardcover edition of Tears of Frost.

Over the past couple of years, Bree and I became really good friends, we’ve been talking about our writing projects and the ups and downs of life in general. So, a couple of weeks ago, Bree asked me to be part of her virtual launch party for the release of her third book, Soul of Cinder.

Let me tell you that I literally screamed when I read her email!
This was probably one of the very few cool things that happened in 2020, and I couldn’t feel more blessed and honoured that Bree asked me to be there for her. I mean, this is HUGE!
For those of you who are familiar with the series, but haven’t read what the third book is about, here is the synopsis for you all:
“The Twisted Sisters are coming home.
Prince Quin has returned to the river kingdom, ready to spearhead a rebellion and reclaim the throne. He vows to destroy Mia, Pilar, and Angelyne if they oppose him—even if he must use his newfound magic to set the world aflame.
Across the four kingdoms, the elements have been tipped askew. Volcanoes erupt, glaciers collapse, and cities sink into the western sands. After losing Angie, Mia and Pilar journey to the glass kingdom to seek help, though soon their fragile bonds of sisterhood begin to fray. Mia’s sensations are creeping back, and with them, a deep and searing grief. Pilar, terrified of being broken, once again seeks comfort in her fists. But when they hear rumors of a misty island that promises to erase all pain, they suddenly find themselves with an answer—if they are willing to pay the cost.
As tensions mount, the sisters are drawn back to the river kingdom for a final reckoning with the boy they each loved.
The shattering conclusion to Bree Barton’s Heart of Thorns trilogy challenges why we grieve, whom we love—and how to mend a broken heart.”
Once again, I’m lucky enough to read the book before it hits the shelves, and let me tell you, so far it is mind-blowing y’all!
The most exciting part of the upcoming launch party though is that I will have a quite active role.
Bree has asked me to prepare something, something that I can’t talk too much about for the time being, yet something that I hope it will please the fans around the globe very much! I will also have the chance to talk a bit about my book and my writing projects, which is always good, especially for a self-published author, such as myself.

I will definitely let you know more as soon as the launch party happens, but for the time being, rest assured that we’re working on something extra special!
Thank you all so very much for being here once again! It truly means the world to me and I want you to know that I most certainly don’t take your presence here for granted.
Have a wonderful weekend, awesome nerds, stay safe & stay positive.
Till next time… Toodles!
