I’m at 32,185 REVISED words on A Touch of Darkness.
I’ve literally been rewriting one sentence a day sometimes.
I have to get it together.
This is the first book I’ve written where I’ve just embraced my writing style. Which is just that I write a ton of scenes (sometimes full, detailed stretches with dialogue) and then bites and pieces of dialogue (literally what I post on here are just characters talking, maybe they only say one or two lines, maybe they won’t shut up). Then I string that together into a half-coherent…thing…and revise that.
OVER AND OVER.
Until a book is made.
It works.
