I enjoy chilling with a drink and snacks beside me as I get comfy for some great tv/movie watching.

I’m watching what I think of as a Binge-Worthy TV Show. As you know I’m a big fan of binge-watching stuff. I might have mentioned it a few times here too. *wink*

Midnight, Texas (TV series)

I’m re-watching a TV show I enjoy. Love the dynamic of the characters. The characters are awesome. So good! I’m having a great time watching this awesome show. Love interactions between the characters. Each episode is great. Love it.

I’m rereading a Sandra Brown book.

Read Tiger Prince.

This book is one of my favorite I reread. Always enjoy it. The book is so good. I enjoy the characters. I love this book.

Now back to reading.

Between the Covers ~ Going for It

Today’s Between the Covers is an excerpt from Going for It, Zander Oaks, Book # 9. Enjoy.

Half an hour later she returned to the bedroom. She smoothed the nightdress she wore. Zachary was already there and under the covers. As was the usual he had cleaned up in the spare bedroom. She went to the right side and he lifted the covers. Tyler slid in facing him. Zachary smiled and there was a glint in his eye she couldn’t define.

“What?”

“You’re so cute.”

She scowled. Zachary chuckled. She stuck out her tongue. He just laughed harder.

“Delegated to cute. No wonder we haven’t done anything but sleep beside each other.”

Zachary sobered. “That’s not why.”

“Then why?”

“I was waiting for you.”

“What?” She frowned. “But I told you from the first night I was interested.”

“And that was the night you lost someone you cared about.” Zachary sounded so reasonable. “I didn’t want to be the regret you had in the morning for doing something while emotional.”

“Emotional.” Tyler repeated.

Zachary smiled. “I can see you’re not liking what I am saying but think about it. That first night you were not in the right frame of mind. Earlier that day you went from not dating or having time for men to drinks and saying it was a date. Then you invited me in to spend night. Woman you could give someone whiplash.”

She thought of it from his point of view. “Ok. I can agree to what you said about the first night. But you’ve been here for over a week and half. So, what about all those other days?”
“I was being a gentleman.”

She stared.

“Don’t look at me like that.” Zachary rolled his eyes. “I was trying to embrace what my mama taught me of being a gentleman. Usually I wouldn’t but did.”

“Why?”

He frowned. “I don’t know. I want you. God, I want you but…”

“Are you planning to be a gentleman for much longer?”

Zachary smiled a slow grin.
