Grooving ~ The Closer
There are many definitions to grooving. The one I’m exploring is all about things I enjoy. So I’ll be sharing with you some things that get me grooving. I enjoy chilling with a drink and snacks beside me as I get comfy for some great tv/movie watching.
I’m watching what I think of as a Binge-Worthy TV Show. As you know I’m a big fan of binge-watching stuff. I might have mentioned it a few times here too. *wink*

The Closer (TV series)
I’m re-watching a TV show I enjoy. Love the dynamic of the characters. The characters are awesome. So good! I’m having a great time watching this awesome show. Love interactions between the characters. Each episode is great. Love it.

I’m reading a book from by Lynsay Sands’ Argeneau series.
Read Meant to Be Immortal.
I’m catching up on my reading of the Lynsay Sands Argeneau series. Reading a book in series I haven’t read yet. Loving the book. 
All the books in this series are so amazing. They build on each other. I enjoy the characters. I love the series. From the first time I read this series it caught me with the world building, plot, and especially the characters.
Now back to reading.

Weekly Wrap-up ~ 1/17/25
Started my new book. Getting familiar with the story, characters and so on. Excited to see how the book unfolds.
Also still working on prep for next book.
And as usual still working on my continuous organizing and planning.

Between the Covers ~ Dangerous Intent
Today’s Between the Covers is an excerpt from Dangerous Intent, Law and Protection, Book #1. Enjoy.
“Although I was told it was more of a simple babysitting gig.” He stood keeping an eye on Callie still with her gun on him. “Either use it of put it away.”
“I’m still deciding,” Callie replied. She smiled a devilish grin then sighed. “Damn, it’s so disappointing that I’m not going to get to shoot anyone.”
“You shot her.” Darryl pointed to the woman who was lying on the floor.
Like the man she hadn’t made a sound when shot and stabbed. She was glaring at them both. Darryl went over to her and flipped her over putting the zip ties on her then seating her before them.
“Yeah but that wasn’t any fun.”
He glanced at Callie. She winked then lowered her gun she lifted her dress and slid her gun into her thigh holster. Darryl stared at the expanse of leg and the gun lying against it. He willed himself to not get hard. This was neither the time nor place. A sultry chuckle drew his gaze to hers. The knowing look on her face made him shake his head. She smiled wider and licked her lips.
“Only if you’re lucky.” She deliberately looked down his body. “And I don’t see you as being that.”
“I’ve been known to be.” He smiled slowly.
Callie eyes darkened and her breath hitched.
