2024 Plans – Review

Last year I posted my plans for 2024. Today at the last day of this year I’m reviewing my plans to see how I did.

As usual, I’m feeling lots of anticipation for 2025. Very excited about the opportunities that are coming.

Here’s the review of my plans and how I did for 2024 Plans.

Main Plan:

– Write.

Plan Status: Accomplished. I wrote many books last year.

2024 Plans:

~ Publish at least 5 books

Plan Status: Not Accomplished.

~ Write more free reads

Plan Status: Not  Accomplished.

~ Start releasing books in my Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Crossover Series.

Plan Status: Not Accomplished. Still working on this.

~ Streamline some processes for more efficiency.

Plan Status: Accomplished. Did a lot of this and will be doing more.

~ Keep learning to enrich myself, my author career & business and etc.

Plan Status: Accomplished.

Reviewing how I did on my plan helps me see what I did this year. I’m happy & proud of what I accomplished this year. I’ve been pushing my boundaries and growing. How did you do for your 2024 plans?

Grooving ~ Black Panther

There are many definitions to grooving. The one I’m exploring is all about things I enjoy. So I’ll be sharing with you some things that get me grooving. This can be anything from books, movies, tv shows, things I am cooking, places I have been, just fun or anything my mind comes up with. This is all about things I find enjoyable and fun. I enjoy chilling with a drink and snacks beside me as I get comfy for some great tv/movie watching.

Black Panther (film)

This is one of my favorite movies. Love the overall movie – plot, characters and everything. I’ve watched this movie so many times before and still enjoy it. It’s such a great movie.

Rereading Linda Lael Miller’s Corbin series.

Read Corbin’s Fancy.

This book and series are some of my favorite I reread. Always enjoy it. The books are so good and build on each other. I enjoy the characters. I love this book and the series.

Between the Covers ~ Talios

Today’s Between the Covers is an excerpt from Talios, Kemet Uncovered, Book # 1. Enjoy.

The man rose from the lake like some mythical god. Water cascaded from his naked, sculptured body. He raised a strong-looking hand and ran blunt fingers through his shoulder-length, black hair. With confidence, he came out of the water. When he reached the shore, he didn’t break stride coming to her. A sudden feeling of being hunted came over her and she backed up, hitting a tree.

He stopped a little distance away from her. At five foot eleven, she didn’t usually feel short, but next to him she did. He was very tall—he had at least eight inches over her.

She studied him. His curly black hair framed an onyx-coloured face that was all planes and angles—broad forehead, high cheeks, full nose, firm chin and full lips. He was extremely handsome…but it was his presence that captivated her. There was a sense of strength yet gentleness about him.

She lowered her gaze. A golden chain hung at his neck, with an oblong pendant covered in symbols. Candace licked her lips at the sight of his broad chest and shoulders. The man made a slight rumbling sound. It snapped her out of her daze.
