Rekindled Dreams Day 4
On the Musings From An Addicted Reader blog, I'm discussing how a particular food scene in Rekindled Dreams was planned but then deleted from the final manuscript. See the correlation to how my heroine Vena and Cher as the mother in the 1990s film, Mermaids, cook.

Consequences
My monthly blog post is up at Authors By Moonlight where October is the month for Harvest Moon Reads. I'm relating how avoiding change can have consequences--in my life and in the life of the heroine of my latest release, Rekindled Dreams.

A Date for Finn and Vena
On today's visit of my release blog tour, I set the scene for a real date that Finn and Vena might have had if the wild and wacky antics of the story in Rekindled Dreams hadn't taken priority. Come visit and be sure to enter the contest.

Behind the story of Flashback
On my blog today is a behind the story post by Kevin Mark Smith about his new release, Flashback. This is a legal thriller where a successful man has to face the consequences of what happens to his life after he makes one decision.

Rekindled Dreams Releases Today
Today is release day for my romantic comedy, Rekindled Dreams, from Entranced Publishing. This story is a true labor of love because I have changed professions of both characters from less-marketable ones (legislator and romance author), changed the title, and updated the technology (started writing this when personal computers and cell phones were only used by the very rich or CEOs of major companies.
But I always loved the characters' relationship and the other characters who live in Dry Creek so I kept tweaking the details to make the story work, and was successful in finding Rekindled Dreams a home.
Blurb: Museum curator Vena Fenton returns to her small Montana hometown to create a new display concept and is forced to live under the same roof as the star of her teenage dreams. Environmental lobbyist Finnian Quaid is restoring his parents’ historic inn and contemplating a run for state representative but backers insist he needs a more settled image. When the romantic sparks fly, will the only-for-show engagement stay pretend or deepen into a love that will unsettle both their lives?
I'm involved in a 20-day blog tour promoting the title with a contest giveaway. Check out my website for a daily schedule of the stops.
