Home Is Where The Heart Is blog hop

Candlelight Reads is hosting a blog hop from today, February 15 through February 19, titled Home is Where The Heart Is . The question posed to participants was "what is the definition of home?" Some of us wrote from the perspective of a character we'd created; others wrote of a book they'd read where "home" was a prominent theme. I wrote about Mikel Toussaint, hero in The Ring That Binds , my sweet western historical.
Join nine Prism Book Group authors writing on their stores. Two grand prizes of $40 GC to the winners bookseller of choice! Plus, a chance at a swag pack! www.prismbookgroup.com/blog

A Review of The Ring That Binds

Today Carlene Havel, a Goodreads author, reviewed my historical novella, The Ring That Binds, (the one that's on Kindle's Top 100 list for Western Romances) on her blog. See the comments that made me blush...and grin.

Imagine my delight when I saw on Amazon that my December historical novella, The Ring That Binds , is on Kindle's Top 100 Western Romance list. When I checked the ranking a couple days ago, the title was number 38.
I'm so excited for my story to be included among the other great titles.
If you haven't already checked it out, please pop on over and see if it's a story you'd like to read.

Dreams Of Gold release

I'm so excited to share that my western historical novella, Dreams of Gold, is now available in the KDP Select program on Amazon. The story is only available on Amazon for three months before the novella is for sale on The Wild Rose Press website. Here's a bit about the story that I had loads of fun researching.
1871, Wyoming Territory
Easterner Ciara Morrissey travels west to honor a sacred promise to her mother and locate her fortune-seeking father. Three years of acting as caretaker to her grandparents and mother until their deaths has created a thirst in Ciara to see what the wide world has to offer.
Sheriff Quinn Riley has been tracking the Irish charlatan who swindled half the population of Bull City, Wyoming. He’s determined to stick close to the opinionated woman who arrived on the runaway stagecoach. Within only a few hours, easterner Ciara Morrissey puts the town in an uproar by making inquires about his prime suspect. He’s duty-bound to keep her safe, even when being close to the green-eyed beauty sets off a stampede in his heart.
