C. Schmidt is an Alexandria, Virginia native – now Maryland-based hip-hop artist and producer. He found a passion in creative writing while being a featured contributor on a hip-hop music blog. After writing several music reviews, articles and essays, his passion grew. He started to write short stories to which he continued to revisit one story in particular. "Hock City" was that story. One of his finished products, after several years of dabbling in the literary world.
