Personal Review for the latest anthology to feature one of my stories.

I have a rule about not reviewing anthologies which contain my stories. But I cannot go without commenting on, Storytellers' True Stories of Triumph, as I checked out some of the other stories in this book.

They are thought provoking, revealing, relatable, and extremely well written. Even though these experiences were personal to the author, the reader feels as if they are right there going through the experience themselves.

If you're looking for an excellent read, please consider this book, and have a box of tissues handy when you do.

I am humbled with this award.

My greatest gratitude to the Will Rogers Medallion Award committee for awarding me 4th place in the Western Short Nonfiction category. Thank you to the folks at Saddlebag Dispatches Magazine for nominating my essay, "Northwest Passage: One Hundred Years of the Ellensburg Rodeo." I certainly cannot forget, my friend and mentor Dennis Doty, for asking me I wanted to take on the assignment.

I most certainly am humbled by this praise.

And the results are in...

Inside sources have informed me that my essay about the Ellensburg Rodeo Centennial has won 4th place in the Will Rogers Medallion Award national competition.

If I can ever figure out how to post a photo to share with you all, I'll be sure to do just that.

Sometimes we all need a facelift.

I'd like to announce, my collection known as, Witness Testimony and Other Tales, has been released under a new cover. It has been one of the best sellers for the publisher and we thought giving it a new face would attract new readers.

Still available from Amazon in paperback and Kindle formats, at a newly reduced prices!

Many things can happen when your absent.

Those of you who have followed my story know my FB page was hacked and I have lost all access to my original account. I have started a new account to keep up with family and friends.

What does that have to do with Goodreads? Well, it seems during my hiatus, an anthology featuring my story, "No Good Deed (Goes Unpunished)", was published. Please welcome, Journeys II: Out of this World, available in paperback and Kindle format.

A Most Happy New Year Greeting!

I don't know why, but 2022 felt more difficult to wade through than the couple of years previous. I look forward to 2023 bringing fresh ideas, bountiful friendships, and success for everyone here!
