Journeys IV

Please join me in celebrating the acceptance of my story, "The Faerie Ring", in the latest Journey anthology. This would make a story in all four volumes.

Gratitude!

Thank you, whomever, who gave a 5-Star rating to Two Sides of the Same Coin: In-between stories of Sherlock Holmes and John H. Watson.

I wish you had written a review so I could be a little more personal in my statement, but heck, a win is a win! Blessings y'all!

Have you ever been to the Ellensburg Rodeo?

Yesterday, when I was antiquing in Packwood, I was reminded about how most of the folks there followed on over the mountains to visit the Enumclaw Rodeo, held every Labor Day weekend.

In honor of that event, I wanted to share my award-winning essay about the history of this grand event. "Northwest Passage" tells how it began over a hundred years ago from a humble community gathering to the international competition it is today.

You can find the essay in the Summer 2022 edition of the Saddlebag dispatches Magazine.

It's Here!

Lungers, Lawdogs, and Legends, the latest anthology from Saddlebag Dispatches Magazine, is now available in paperback and Kindle format from Amazon.

It contains my story, "Leadville: A Pick, a Pan, and Chopsticks", a delightful tale that just might leave you feeling a little bit hungry in the end.

You always remember your first.

It is said, "You always remember your first." Favorably, I hope.

This was the first anthology that ever published one of my stories, "Sara Hemming, Psychic Redecorator". Take a read from this book and enjoy the many tales presented there.

Lungers, Lawdogs, and Legends

Lungers, Lawdogs, and Legends is the name of the soon to be released anthology from Saddlebag Dispatches Magazine. I mention this because my story, "Leadville: A Pick, A Pan, and Chopsticks", will be featured in this book about the mining history of Leadville, Colorado.

My best for Steve Carr

When I was told, I would be featured author for Journeys 3, I was humbled that the publisher thought enough of my writing to put my name of the cover. The fact that the book was dedicated to our late friend, Steve Carr, made me want to give them my best work. I think, "Ode to Arabella", does just that.
