Sunday is a day of rest.

It is Sunday, the day of rest. Today, I wish to bypass the promotions and marketing in favor of sitting back and enjoying my coffee and thinking about who I would like to share a cuppa with.

For me, it would have to be Mark Twain--oh, the stories I bet that man could tell. On the other hand, spending time with Beatrix Potter would be nice, but I am sure she would insist on having tea.

Never give up on your dream!

A long time ago, I quit writing over a dispute over the ownership of a play I had written. I let that experience color my creativity for almost forty years. Do not let this happen to you. If you want to write, then write. If you want to paint, then paint. Whatever you feel you are called to do, do it.

I for one will be behind you all the way with encouraging cheers!

"The Girl Who Can See Death" does it again!

I am pleased to announce that my story, "The Girl Who Could See Death," has been accepted for Mackensie Publishing's new anthology, Such a Loss. This is a charity book with all proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The late Steve Carr predicted this story would have legs, and he sure was right.

#IstandwithEvan

Today marks one year since the WSJ reporter, Evan Gersovich, was detained by the Russian police.

Please, let the world know, he is not forgotten.

Score another submission win in 2024

Great news came my way as my story, "Leadville: A Pick, A Pan, and Chopsticks", has been accepted for the as yet unnamed Saddlebag Dispatches Magazine anthology, due to be released later this year.

"A must-have collection"

Thank you, A.B., for 5 Star review of Witness Testimony and Other Tales.

"5.0 out of 5 stars
A must-have collection

A masterful set of stories from a true master author. With something different on every page, this collection is one you can read again and again.

As a child, my favourite gifts were anthologies of short stories by the various master authors. This made me think of those times, and is worthy of a place in any story collection"

The numbers of reviews are growing!

Many thanks to the person who rated my book, Witness Testimony and Other Tales, giving it a total of 40. Ten more and Amazon will send me a unicorn (LOL). Not really, when the total reviews/ratings reach 50, Amazon will add the book to it's list for advertising.

Also, my thanks to the person who upped the ratings for, Two Sides of the Same Coin, to 6. In another post, I will share her kind words.

Thank you, Everyone, for the support!

An amazing anthology for Western Lore lovers.

I have a personal belief that as a contributor to an anthology, it is improper for me to give a formal review on Amazon.

Between Hell and Tombstone is one of the best collection of stories about the Old West that I have ever read. You have to remember these are the stories that "didn't" make it in to Winter 2023 issue of Saddlebag Dispatches.

If you're looking for a good book for yourself, or for a Valentine's Day gift for a Western lover, you must consider this book. It does feature my story, "The Ballad of Cochise's Granddaughter", but I must add, there are other fantastic stories in there as well.

Perfect gift for the SciFi fan in your life.

If you're looking for that special gift for the SciFi fan in your life, might I suggest the Galaxy #14 Anthology? It features my flash, "How I Met Ali."
