The Rev. Marcus is a rogue scholar, writer, angry liberal and designer…His novel, Rorschach’s Ribs is now available. When he isn’t writing or cursing the government under his breath, he’s fronting the seminal Gothic-Americana band, Strawfoot.

He's a card-carrying Reverend, licensed to marry and bury.

He only runs when chased, he only gambles with his life.

He’s desperately trying to find someone who may have google-mapped directions to Funky Town.

“Pop music is like fast food. It's always available quickly and might even taste good while you're eating it...but eventually you're going to shit it out and see it for what it really is--all the packaging in the world can't cover up the fact that it's excrement.”

“Using chemicals is like wetting your pants. It feels real good while you're doing it, but sooner or later you've got to clean up the mess.”

“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,

Bradley Heh, I can care for my son and look for inspiration. I just watched the cartoon Robots movie. Silly, but it keeps my spirits up watching something positive. =)

Bradley I know what you mean. You could think of it one way, you were able to open your eyes this morning and dread yet another dreary day.. but the alternative is oblivion.. or worse.. boredom. If you have something you hate, at least that is an emotion that colours your life.. even in a negative light. The worst.. is the boredom. No job to complain about, no slavish boss to work for. I am stuck at home caring for my son. My greatest enemy is boredom.. losing my life spark when I should be encouraging and loving to him. That is my fear. Oblivion.. boredom.. no will to write anymore. In other words, my day is pretty boring when I should be writing. =)
