Wanna tag along to the moon?

The Windy City Nights series is going to the moon - 6 people can tag along - read below

I am author #117 on an exciting project called Writers on the Moon.

Writers on the Moon is a lunar time capsule project. We're sending a rag-tag fleet of stories to the Moon aboard a digital data card. We hope this snapshot of indie fiction from around the world in 2021 will reveal the humanity of today to the readers of tomorrow.

Astrobotic and DHL have partnered to deliver "MoonBoxes" aboard Astrobotic's lunar landers. Our payload will ride on the first Astrobotic lander to reach the Moon, the Peregrine Lander. It will remain there permanently, a time capsule for the future. The project is being organized by Susan Kaye Quinn , Speculative Fiction Author. Tentative departure is Fall 2021.

Although only I can be listed on the flight manifest - I can bring "stowaways" with me in the README document I will include with my other payload files.

I am offering 6 "stowaway" opportunities in my README file. If you'd like a chance to ride along with the Windy City Nights books to the moon please do the following:

1. Email me at daniavoss@gmail.com with an up to 350 word write up that includes a little about yourself and where you're from (generally speaking) - you can include a digital photo if you want to

2. If you've read any of the Windy City Nights books, include a little info. about a favorite moment in any of them- why you liked it.

3. Email me by the end of the day Friday, February 5th.

4. I will hold a random drawing to select 6 "stowaways". Good luck!

The selected US "stowaways" will receive a paper certificate and small jar of moonstones - international stowaways will receive a digital certificate - after the launch date in the fall.

Saturday Oct. 20th book signing in Chicagoland

Are you in the Chicagoland area? If so, I'd love to meet you! In honor of Italian Heritage Month, I'm teaming up with a few other local Italian writers for a book signing get together on Saturday, October 20th from 1- 4pm. We'll be at Underpass Lounge, 9400 Grand Ave., Franklin Park, IL.
