Discovery is LIVE! Exclusive Excerpt
The first thing I noticed as I woke up was cold air on my legs. I never slept without at least a pair of shorts. I lifted the sheet that was covering part of my midsection to make sure I wasn’t naked. Memories started trickling to the forefront of my mind from the night before and I jolted upright in a panic. I struggled to draw breath as I tried to recall what the hell had happened after Levi brought me to his bedroom. I knew he’d told me we weren’t going to have sex, but in my entire life I...

How Being Honest Made Me a Better Writer
Tomorrow, Quinn’s third book goes live.
Why the sudden need to refer to myself in the third person? Because today’s actually my twenty-eighth release day. That’s crazy for me to think about! Five and a half years ago, my husband rolled his eyes when I released that first book. He didn’t think it’d go anywhere, that I’d get bored and move on to some other hobby within the year. I’d like to be pissed at him for his lack of support, but I get it. Until I found writing, I was a serial job-hopper....

I Don’t Wanna Grow Up…
No, this isn’t a post about everyone’s favorite, ill-fated toy store, and I apologize now if you have that damn jingle stuck in your head. With Discovery releasing in just a couple days, it seemed a good time to share some great m/m age play reads.
Age play is about more than just a Daddy and his boy. While Daddy kink and age play are often thought to be the same, they’re very different creatures. Daddy/boy stories don’t have to contain any sort of age regression behavior. It can simply be a...

I Won’t Feel Guilty About Books Right Now
With a book getting ready to release and one on sale right now, I’ve thought a lot about whether it’s the time or the place to be promoting them. You see, there’s a lot going on in the world that’s so much more important than a silly little love story. Right? I mean, how can I possibly focus on asking people to buy my books when there are so many causes that truly need money to help them fight the good fight? How can I sit down and read, knowing there’s so much turmoil in the world?
The answe...

M/M Romance Father’s Day Spotlight
Today’s Father’s Day in the U.S. For some of us, it’s a day to celebrate the men in our lives. For others, it’s a somber day spent remembering the fathers and father-figures who’ve passed on. And for the rest of us, it’s a great day to read! Personally, that’s my plan since I’m a thousand miles from my own (totally amazing) father.
If you’re looking for a great read with dads and their kids, check out some of the following!

Something As Simple As Hair
It’s funny, I went almost forty years without thinking much about certain tasks in life. In this case, haircuts. I mean, I remember fighting with my old-fashioned (but totally amazing) dad, who thought girls should have long hair. I didn’t want long hair, but the number of people who complimented me on the fact my hair was both white-blonde and super thick only helped justify his argument. When I was twelve, he finally agreed that I could cut it. To the bottom of my shoulder blades. None of u...

ICYMI: A Peek at Discovery – Matteo’s Story
I ate all the fruit and cheese off the plate, but nearly gagged with the first bite of the turkey sandwich. It was slathered with mayonnaise and the texture of it made me want to hurl. I reached for a napkin and, politely as I could, spit the bread and meat into it before dumping everything into the garbage can under the table.
“There, don’t you feel better now?” Levi asked. The soft smile he gave me when I looked up at him made something in my chest do a somersault. I wished I knew what abo...

Discovery – We Have a Blurb!
Like many authors, I struggle with writing blurbs for my books. How do you tell enough about the story to entice a reader to click the buy button without giving away too much? How do you summarize months of work into a couple hundred words or less? If you’re me, you enlist the help of friends. Some know the story, some are going in blind, but all of them are people I trust to be brutally honest with me. This is the result. I hope you like it!

Discovery by Quinn Ward – Sneak Peek
Sex is a lot like pizza. It’s good, but I won’t die without it. My ambivalence was probably why John asked me to help him by modeling for his new website. I knew he was a kinky bastard, just like he knew I didn’t understand what all the fuss was about. And since I’d never judged him and didn’t judge my brothers for what got them off, it was a no-brainer to him. I’d had no idea what I’d gotten myself into.
When I’d first walked onto the set, I’d been taken aback by the oversized nursery, but w...

Why Men’s Clothes Are Better
[image error]I have a closest that’s exploding with clothes. The problem? A lot of them feel like they belong to someone else. I know I bought those pieces thinking they’d suit my style, but they always felt like I was playing dress-up. Now, I have to work up the courage to cull a lot of that, admitting to myself that they’ll never be me. It shouldn’t be so hard, but it is.
The only thing that’ll make it easier is knowing I can then fill the closet again, this time with clothes meant for Quinn, not that o...
