Exciting week!

 

It’s been an exciting week for me! Wedded in Scandal was just nominated as BEST HISTORICAL BOOK OF THE YEAR for the 2012 Bookie Awards.

 

 

Ebook Discovery has made it JADE LEE Week! They’re spotlighting a Jade Lee ebook every day this week. I’ve been watching the page to see if people comment on any of these books. A Magic King, for example, is a great blend of fantasy and romance, plus time travel and computer geek. Sort of a hybrid of styles that I adore. What can I say, I’m a sf/f geek who loves romance. So, I wrote myself my own Magic King! Anyway, I’m hoping someone comes up and says they love it (or any of my other spotlighted books!).

 

 

And finally, Tempted Tigress by Jade Lee is on 99 cent sale. It’s being spotlighted by E-Reader News Today as a Kindle Bargain book. It had to garner a bunch of very high reviews to be spotlighted and it’s their lead title. So yes, there was happy dancing in my office today!

 

So that’s the Jade Lee news for this week. Who knows what the future will bring?!?!

Not so much today...

Well, I did another session last night. It was a follow up to the one that produced such happiness yesterday. It was an incredibly difficult session. I yawned through the whole thing. Kept losing focus. Thinking about dinner, my writing, my mother, etc, etc. That's usually a sign that I'm hitting some Hard Wired Barriers (HWB) and just don't want to change. But I persevered. Or I think I did. Anyway, I spent more time with it until it finally finished. Yeah! I accomplished my task ...

It worked!

I am really happy today. Frankly, it's rather frightening and bizarre. And it is definitely interferring with my writing--which is not cool. But I'm just really happy. It feels like a million of my cells deep inside are grinning. That's it. Just grinning. So my insides feel happy, and that kinda throws my brain because there is no reason to feel this happy.

Oh wait, there is. I'm alive, the sun is out, and in general, things are going as they ought. That's a cool thing, but you know, ...
