Dungeon of Chance: Even Odds now on audiobook!

The first book in my newest series, Dungeon of Chance: Even Odds, is now available on audiobook! Narrated by the great Miles Meili, come get a listen of a Dungeon Core book using Gacha Game-type mechanics!

Audible US: https://www.audible.com/pd/B08SVRJRJ2... UK: https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/B08SW9BKF8

In a world dictated by probabilities, Clay was an anomaly…Thousands of Heroes protect the land, defending against the periodic incursions by gigantic monsters known as World Threats. This was the way it had always been and Clay Shuntwise was perfectly fine with that. Running deliveries for his family’s shop in the sleepy town of Renton, the young teenager barely even thought about Heroes and their role in keeping the world safe. That was, at least, until the world came crashing down on him.Reborn into the brand-new and unfamiliar form of a Dungeon Core, Clay struggles through learning more about Heroes and the dungeons they delve through to get stronger. According to the guide that was trying to help him understand his new life, however, because he was a former Hero, Clay should already know most of what he needed to succeed; all of the finer parts regarding the relationship between Heroes and dungeons, including information about probabilities and drop rates, should be common knowledge. The problem? Despite wishing that he had been that lucky in his past life, Clay had never been a Hero…but now he might be forced to become one, though not quite in the way he ever expected. This book contains Dungeon Core, LitRPG, and GameLit elements including dungeon construction and defense, monster summoning, character progression, and a game-like interface. In addition, many of the probabilities the world is based upon are similar to Gacha-type mechanics. Contains no profanity, harems, or explicit sexual content.

The Crafter's Dominion releases January 27th!

The 5th book in the Dungeon Crafting series, The Crafter's Dominion, is now available for pre-order.  Releasing on January 27th, this is the longest book I've written to date at 159k words -- and it was a wild ride!

US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SR3C2ZQ

UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08SR3C2ZQ

Faced with overwhelming odds, this crafty Dungeon Core must use all of her knowledge to establish her dominion, not only over the nearby dungeons, but over her own sense of self.

The death of one of her Orcish mercenaries has sent Sandra into a spiral of rage and revenge, focusing on the four Dungeon Cores that attacked her.  Unable to prevent herself from invading the rival dungeons with the misguided intent of destroying their Cores, the consequences of which would be devastating, the craft-loving former merchant struggles to regain control of her actions caused by the remnants of a Core shard invading her own mind.

Her friends, meanwhile, have their own problems.  Violet, Felbar, Echo, and Gerold were sent back to their respective homelands to warn their leadership about the upcoming threat of enhanced Dungeon Cores, as well as obtaining help to contain them, but each representative has met with some hiccups along the way.  Extricating themselves from their unexpected captivity becomes a priority, if only so that they can get back to the wasteland and Sandra’s dungeon.  Unfortunately, events and threats back home require their attention before they can return.

Will her friends be able to break free from their chains of imprisonment in time to prevent the crafty Dungeon Core from making an irreversible mistake?  Can Sandra overcome the incessant thoughts of retribution and regain control of her mind and actions?

Find out now in The Crafter’s Dominion!

This Dungeon Core story contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling and a heavy crafting emphasis.  No profanity and no harems.

The Crafter’s Dilemma

What happens when a knowledgeable crafter becomes a Dungeon Core?

Sandra had been a merchant traveling through the human lands of Muriel, though that wouldn’t have been her chosen profession.  What she would’ve loved to become was a crafter, producing wondrous creations with her own two hands; however, she didn’t want to become a master in just one craft – she was interested in them all.  Sadly, she was born with a deformity in her hands which hindered her ability to produce crafts, though that didn’t affect her enthusiasm; she sought out the masters of a myriad of different crafts so that she could learn as much about crafting as she could.  It was that pursuit of knowledge that ultimately led to her untimely death.

Reborn as a tiny Dungeon Core, Sandra had to learn about the purpose behind dungeons and Cores from an assigned dungeon helper.  Through some unique circumstances based on her previous life, she also discovered that she had much more freedom than most other Dungeon Cores throughout the world.  Unfortunately, the repercussions of her mere existence would end up being extensive, as she would find, though at first she doesn’t quite realize how much.  In fact, the only thing she was concerned about had nothing to do with other Cores, the presence of the different mortal races nearby her location, or even the real purpose behind her being brought back to life as a strange glowing gem.

No, Sandra didn’t care about any of that; all she cared about was that she could finally do some crafting.

These Dungeon Core stories contain LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics, leveling, and a heavy crafting emphasis.  No profanity and no harems.

Bio Dungeon: Parasyte now on audiobook!

 Another one!

Bio Dungeon: Parasyte is now available on audiobook!  Miles Meili did an awesome job narrating the 2nd book in The Body's Dungeon series -- in over 16 hours of audio content!

https://www.audible.com/pd/B08Q5K9PS3

A malevolent presence lies in wait without their knowledge…

After a hard-fought battle in the heart, Progen has defeated the agents of the entity that wants to destroy the body he is determined to control.  It was a temporary defeat, however, as the entity retreated up into the body’s brain, safely entrenched behind the blood-brain barrier that is preventing the dungeon crystal from accessing the coveted home base of the central nervous system.  As he further establishes his control over the different systems that he can access, a grievous wound to the body creates a problem that could spell the end of his objective.

With the Thieves’ Guild basically destroyed by the Adventurer’s Guild in Graniton, thanks to help from the thief-turned-adventurer, Marstin Hardgrove, his prospects were only looking up.  Having established himself as a trustworthy addition to the Guild, it didn’t take long before he was asked to join numerous adventuring teams as they tackled different quests.  However, a disturbing discovery towards the north, where the tribes cultivate their Ice Caribou, will lead to a situation where Marstin’s friends are treated with suspicion back home.  Worse than that, the old prejudices against thieves and former thieves come back to haunt him.

With hidden enemies preying on them from the shadows of anonymity, will Progen and Marstin be able to stop these vicious parasites from snatching away the lives they are striving towards?

Contains LitRPG/GameLit elements, such as character progression, statistics, and resource management.  Also contains an in-depth, science-based portrayal of how the immune system responds to foreign pathogens via different white blood cells and other microscopic protectors.  No harems, sexual content, or foul language.

Station Cores Complete Compilation on audiobook!

Out today, my Station Cores Complete Compilation is now out on audiobook!  All 5 books in the series at over 56 hours of audio, including the exclusive short story that combines the Station Cores and Dungeon World universes!

https://www.audible.com/pd/B08Q3GCHR3

Contains all five books in the Station Cores series:

The Station Core – Book 1

The Quizard Mountains – Book 2

The Guardian Guild – Book 3

The Kingdom Rises – Book 4

The Other Core – Book 5

In addition, there are some BONUSES:

Hand-drawn maps (admittedly done by me without much artistic talent) that I used to help me write the series

A fun 12k-word short story that combines the Dungeon World and Station Cores universes.

Milton Frederick was originally abducted from his apartment to help defend one batch of pacifistic aliens called The Collective against another set of homicidal aliens called Heliothropes…but he never quite made it that far.  Instead, during the process where his human consciousness was ripped from his body and inserted into a massive metal contraption called a Station Core, the ship that he was being transported on blew up and he was sent hurtling through space.

Crash-landing on an unknown planet with just a foot-and-a-half tall, foul-mouthed, nanite-formed AI guide called ALANNA to tell him what happened, Milton has to come to terms with his new existence as a giant metal egg, defend his hazardously-in-need-of-repair outer shell from the dangerous local wildlife (including blood-thirsty squirrels), and manage the unique radiation spewing from his damaged internal reactor – all while figuring out how the heck to get off the planet.

All of his work building a “dungeon” underground, defending it with makeshift traps, and filling it with small Combat Units may work well enough against the random beasts wandering around, but they’re next to useless when something else even more dangerous shows up knocking on his door: people.  Not humans, of course, but the local equivalent – Proctans – who are similar enough to Milton’s original species…though with one major difference.

They all have unique special abilities that looks suspiciously like “magic”.

However, there is an even bigger threat that looms on the horizon not only for Milton, but all the Proctans as well…

Contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as level progression and experience, optional tables, no harems, and a heavy Dungeon Core emphasis.

The Song Maiden now on audiobook!

Re-released on audiobook, The Song Maiden (2nd Edition) is now available!  Narrated by Anneliese Rennie, who did an awesome job, prepare to experience a story with an atypical MC and Class!

US: https://www.audible.com/pd/B08P5Z4JKK

UK: https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/B08P5YSM3R

This is the first book in the Uniworld Online Trilogy, which is a LitRPG series that follows the adventures of Cadence, who possesses a unique disability in the real world that prevents her from being able to speak.  Inside of Uniworld, however, she not only has the ability to speak for the first time in her life, but to do the one thing she enjoys more than anything else: Sing.  As a Dwarven Bard, she uses her newfound ability to sing and affect the world around her.

The second book in the Trilogy, The Song Mistress, has already been submitted to Audible!  I have hopes that it will be out before Christmas; the third book, The Song Matron, will likely be out in February!

What do you do when you love singing, but you’re unable to speak?

Cadence was born with a previously unknown disability that disrupted the some of the signals her brain sent to her vocal cords and hands, preventing communication through her voice or even through sign language.  Despite that, she learned to communicate through writing and, when its use became more prevalent, text messaging.  Because of this, she excelled throughout high school and even managed to get into college, rooming with her best friend, Jill.

Unfortunately, her first day of college turned into a tragedy, as she ended up in the hospital after a violent attack.  While she was recovering and confined to a bed while her body healed, Cadence was introduced to the NVERS by her best friend, which was a virtual reality system where she could experience a new game called Uniworld Online.  It wasn’t just any game, though; Uniworld Online was the newest offering from Unitech, a company that designed a new method of fully immersing oneself into a game using special technology.  Set in a fantasy setting with opposing Light and Dark Factions, the immersive virtual reality game was unlike any other the world had ever seen.

Having never played any video games before, though, she didn’t know what to expect; the attitude of the rude and power-hungry players she initially met in-game nearly made her want to stop playing.  After acquiring a particular quest, however, she found that Uniworld was even more complicated than she had imagined.  Added to this, she chose to became a Bard class in the game and was able to do something she had never been able to do before, but had always wanted to: Sing.

With her new ability to sing, though, comes a whole new set of challenges – and dangers.

Contains LitRPG elements such as character progression, quests, skills, stats, and stat sheets.  No harems or foul language.
