Forbidden: Revelation Days Cover Reveal

I had a lot of problems with Facebook and Amazon publicity services and I haven't solved them yet, so I figured I would go ahead and keep publishing my books anyway. I've had enough.

This is the cover for my fifth steamy paranormal romance novel Revelation Days. There is a lot of ancient Chinese, specifically Manchurian, stuff later in the book so I figured the cover would have some Chinese air. I painted it with watercolors and the stamp is added digitally. It is Lei with such long hair... or maybe someone who looks exactly like him?

I just saw a similar pic in a doujinshi and drew this one. I don't know, it kinda makes me hot. I imagine this after Lei and Sween have made love, and typically, Lei is all groomed and dressed while Sween is still dreamy and scruffy and "aaah... that was nice". Phew!

I painted this in a 130 grams draft paper and it really got wrinkly, even though I used little water. I'll have to think how to use this one, since I still have quite a few sheets and they are no good for colored pencils. Maybe I'll rest the picture under a heavy weight before scanning it!

Omake: Forbidden: Revelation Days Cover

My first attempt to make a cover for my next novel: Forbidden: Revelation Days.
Here I thought I could make a cover with color pencils instead of my usual watercolors, but didn't turn out the way I wanted. At all. Dunno, watercolors and I just have more affinity. The more I progressed, the more I realized it was not going to turn out the way I wanted, so I gave up on it and began working on a watercolors version which is the definitive cover.

Yeah, it's Lei with long hair... Or perhaps someone who looks a lot like him...?

I don't know what's up with me and this book's artwork, I actually wanted more definition but I only went for it on her face, so the rest is left dream-like, in a pseudo-impressionist way. Many of this book's events are rather surreal when seen from Lei's side, who would be the one looking at Sween in this scene, so it fits.

So yeah, Sween once again in her true form. I like how cute her face turned out, so I didn't want to draw the actual marks of sin on it, which have actually gotten smaller. I'll see if I can add them digitally.

I actually corrected this pic a bit after scanning it, but when I scanned the new version, I barely noticed any difference <.< So I left it like this.

A scene from the novel, this was so hard to draw because of the perspective, and didn't turn out as skilled as I wanted. On the upside, it is a rather faithful representation of what I wanted to paint.

Sween and Astaroth's first excursion into Hell, this is a transitional layer between Earth and Hell where the last battle against The Great Commandment was held. And of course, it's in ruins. But something extremely surprising is hiding in there... and Astaroth beckons Sween to come and get it.

I wanted to make a fox girl avatar for a while now. The thing is, it didn't come out the way I wanted it, I wished for a sweeter, a bit friendlier expression. I will update it later when I manage to make it just the way I wanted. It is because I am picky; I am fairly satisfied with everything else.
