M.D. Neu is an award-winning inclusive gay Fiction Writer with a love for writing and travel. Living in the heart of Silicon Valley (San Jose, California) and growing up around technology, he’s always been fascinated with what could be. Specifically drawn to Science Fiction and Paranormal television and novels, M.D. Neu was inspired by the great Gene Roddenberry, George Lucas, Stephen King, Alice Walker, Alfred Hitchcock, Harvey Fierstein, Anne Rice, and Kim Stanley Robinson. An odd combination, but one that has influenced his writing.

Growing up in an accepting family as a gay man he always wondered why there were never stories reflecting who he was. Constantly surrounded by characters that only reflected heterosexual society, M.D. Neu deci

Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice is one. Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson it's a series, but I kind of count it as one. My Ántonia by Willa Cather is another one, as is The Color Purple by Alice Walker.

These books and these authors really made me love the idea of story telling. they are all so different and when I think about their works I can bits and pieces that I tried to emulate in my stories (I don't know if I succeeded but I like to believe I did an okay job.

Also, these authors all told stories that included people who you don't typically see as heroes, if that makes sense and I wanted to do the same things in my writing.

I hope that answered your question.(less)
M.D. Neu LOL. Yep, San Jose is home, so that would be why. You're in Santa Clara, hmm I may have to show off a bit of Santa Clara in a story. :)…moreLOL. Yep, San Jose is home, so that would be why. You're in Santa Clara, hmm I may have to show off a bit of Santa Clara in a story. :)(less)

Red, White and Royal Blue (My Review)

Happy Wednesday Scribblers, I hope you’re all having a wonderful week. Eric and I finally got around to watching Red, White and Royal Blue and today, after much consideration, I thought I would share my thoughts on this Prime Movie, based on the book Red, White & Royal Blue: A Novel (click here) by Casey McQuiston. M.D. answered Sam's question: M.D. Neu
Hi Sam,

I'm sorry I missed this note. I'm glad you got the copy of Landsend. Since it's a free short I don't have it posted anywhere, you can only get the story through me for now, so there isn't a way to review it.

That said. I do hope you enjoyed it See Full Answer
