Day 3,015: Movies
So, I feel the hankering to watch 100 movies this year; to do that challenge. Starting off SUPER slow. I’ve been so busy.
I eased off the busy today. I still got up on time, had a solid writing session, though not a spectacular one—I didn’t push hard to make progress, I kind just went with the flow, which is fine—I did my Netflix work. But, I went slow.
Tomorrow, I want to push again. Stuff needs to get done. I want to GET it done.

Day 3,014: Ahead of the Game
Boom. I had a productive weekend, folks. Whew. It wasn’t on the big project, but I did get the rest of my Netflix work done, help Liz with a bunch of audition stuff, and get ahead of the schedule with the podcast, using up that available storage space to build a nice little buffer. Feels nice.

Day 3,013: Yarwl
Coco was NOT having her water treadmill sesh today. It’s her second to last, and there was a bit of commotion going on in the facility, and I think it just knocked her off her rhythm. She was yawrling all over the place. That’s what we call her mixture of barking and howling she does when she’s not happy. “Yawrl” is exactly what it sounds like. It’s almost like she’s singing.

Day 3,012: Back
Back in my own bed. Delish.
Long work day today, and I didn’t actually finish. Blech. I’ll have to work a bit over the weekend. Sigh. Nothing crazy tho.
Things have come to a halt this week for our project. Having guests will do that. And rightly so. We wanted to spend as much time with them as we could. I’m going to have to find that rhythm again, though. This weekend? We’ll see.
I need to set an intention for tomorrow, I think. First thing needs to be to get this Netflix work stuff do...

Day 3,011: Left The Club Tipsy
I didn’t mention it last night, but Liz and I DJ’d together. It was great. I listened to our almost-2 hour set today whilst working and it’s good! Played a lot of good music. Lot of different vibes and genres. And had a great time together doing it.
Coops foot update: he fine. Back to his normal, rascal-y self.
Writing was solid today. Going to bed on time so I can end the week tomorrow with a bang. Two full hours. Knock out a big section of this outline!

Day 3,010: Pupper Down!
Breaking news: Coops has a hurt paw. Poor pup. I don’t think it’s that bad. He’s had this thing before and it just goes away, but I think it’s related somehow to his nails, like he splits one of them a little bit. We’ll see. I think I might take him to the vet for it if it happens again and/or this time he keeps limping.

Day 3,009: Kids Man
Just being AROUND a toddler for the past four days has wiped me out, and I’m not even responsible for her! Jkjkjk. That’s not reealllyy why I’m wiped. I’m wiped because we’ve been busy AF.
Long work day today. Got my shit done. Writing this morning was rough because I didn’t sleep too well / went to bed too late and woke up a little late. Trying to fix that tonight. Allergies have also kicked in majorly. Tis the season.

Day 3,008: Coco Snugs
Coco has been suuuper snuggly today. Morning. Little nap in the afternoon. Nighttime. Very attached to me of her own choosing.
Solid writing. Have some ideas for a certain storyline that will help two characters get together the way I want them to.

Day 3,007: Voice and Drum
I was wiped today. I only have one of these kinds of days every…two weeks? That sounds about right. But, I didn’t really get much done today, and that was a-okay with me. I know that I’ll feel much better and ready to rock tomorrow. Not sick. Not even burned out. Just tired.
So much work left to do.
Had a great therapy session. I really appreciate that my therapist really lets me pick the topics. That’s probably all therapists, but it does make it that I talk about something when I’m ready...

Day 3,006: Air Mattress LIFE
On the air mattress in the guest bedroom tonight, and for the rest of the week, actually. Why?
BECAUSE THE FAM IS HERE. Ashika, my goddaughter, and her parents, our genuinely long-time friends Madhuri and Joe are here visiting and we could not be happier to have them.
We cleaned the house just in time for them to arrive, praise baby g. I was still able to get the work done that I wanted to get done today, AND…watched the Niners beat the Packers to advance to the NFC Championship game next ...
