I'm such a busy doggie
So this week me licckle hooman fwends I've been a busy boy....again. Not only do I have keep up an exhaustalating regimey of exercise every day.....yes every day, but I also have many uvver tasks. For instance I am also senior pipsqueak face snack debris remover. Not only that but I am team leader of the barkingatbonkingpigeons group. They sit on the fence or in the trees and they have no shame....We have mini hoomans in the house and we need to make sure their licckle eyes are protectalated from this smut. Then if that's not enough I am kept busy wiv me day job making sure that dad behaves himself in the learning zoo's.....it's not an easy job but someone has to do it.I have now heard I'm not a flippin Pandacow about 300 sqwillion times and the mini hoomans wonder why I fall asleep as soon as we get there.....have you ever heard him talking?......on and on and on. The upside is that there is usually food to be had somewhere.....The four main areas are lunchbags, dinner ladies (I always give them extra bum waggles) classroom bins and mini hoomans faces. This week we did two schools and the fust one had some baby ducklings in the classroom....they kept running round the cage squeaking but I was a really good boy and didn't even try and suck on one a licckle bit. This was in the nursery class and these are me favvyreets cos they always drop food everywhere. The second one was for the children who have problems and aren't going to the normal learning zoo's. Dad was a bit nervous cos he wanted to see how I'd be cos it was a bit new. He's silly cos we know stuff you hoomans will never understand and I knew what those mini hoomans needed......newfydoof love.....simples. They were all lovely and even though a few was banging and shouting sometimes they all wanted cuddles. Monty cuddles makes everything ok.....So see how busy I am......like I say I'm not one to complain......but

Another busy school week
Well it's been another busy week with school visits and we continue to be delighted with the response that we get when we attend. On Tuesday we were in the midlands and a lovely trip to Villiers Primary School in Bilston. What a wonderful school this is and we had a fantastic welcome and were royally looked after all day.We did three assemblies and the children asked some great questions about Monty mostly, but also some good ones about being an author. I'm not a Pandacow was read and it got a very good reception with lots of children wanting their own pawtagraphed and signed copies which kept us busy at lunchtime. It's lovely to be able to help inspire children to read and give them the opportunity to meet the star of the book.Today we were back in Rochdale and a new experience for us when we visited the Brownhills Learning community which provides educational provision for pupils who are out of mainstream schools because of behavioural and emotional difficulties.Their website says 'We believe in a Learning Community where everyone feels valued, included and achieves and we aim to create a nurturing environment', which I certainly found to be the case.I was very happy to agree to visit the school as we really feel strongly that all children should have the same opportunities and our 'FREE' visits reflect our philosophy. Despite any difficulties these children may have they were really engaged with the visit and loved Monty. It seemed he continually had one or two children attached to him and the genuine affection they had for him was very evident.I don't know why but Monty continues to surprise me with every school visit we make. Whatever the situation he deals with it calmly with a huge amount of affection for everyone he meets and nothing at all phases him. We continue to get great feedback about the impact Monty has when we visit and children who, for whatever reason don't enjoy reading are picking up the books. #weloveourwork

Possibly Monty's favourite Crufts stand
A few weeks before Crufts Monty and Cookie had ran out of their nightly Whitefish and seaweed burgers that we order from Sea treats up in Grimsby. Bad management on my part I must admit but I thought as we were heading to the show it was a great opportunity to visit their stand and introduce Monty. Those few weeks meant two very sulky Newfys every evening as they were missing their fishy treats. There aren't many snacks that last them more than a couple of seconds but the burgers are noisily and hungrily crunched on for several minutes and very much enjoyed. With this in mind Monty literally dragged me to the Sea treats stand as soon as the aroma hit his nostrils and we spent a good time there picking up supplies not only for Monty and Cookie but some smaller fishcake bites for the three spaniels. We once again have happy dogs and 'treat time' is anticipated with plenty of wagging tails and drooly mouths. For more information visit their website at https://seatreats.co.uk/

My Ball...all MINE
Dad met the very nice people from Dorwest while we as at Crufties and while he was talking the hooman gave me a ball 'to play with'....As he dropped it dad said 'he doesn't really play with balls'......At this point the hooman said 'Ah I'll put it away then' Dad said 'he doesn't really play with balls but he doesn't really give them back either' The hooman smiled as he reached down for it but he wasn't smiling when I moved me head quickly and put me nose on the ball.....I didn't move me head but looked up at him and that passed the message on quite well and he moved his hand away and didn't try that again. Sorry nice hooman but the vetandhairyman once took some away from me when I was asleep and that's never gonna happen again.....So here it is.....not to be chewed, or chased or played with......just MINE...
