Holiday Fun

Thank you for following me on my blogs! And welcome to December–my favorite month of the year. It’s hard to believe that in twenty-nine days we will welcome 2022, right? But it’s upon us. The shopping, sending holiday cards, planning family events, and enjoying the beauty of winter itself. I also just learned that December is “Write to a friend month” and I thought of a way to help you do that. So, here’s my idea. If you send me your mailing information, I’m going to send you three personalized postcards. One is for you to use as a bookmark, one is for you to use to write to a friend, and the third one is to send back to me. (I will put postage stamps on the last two.) The one that you return to me will be entered into a drawing to win one of my books along with a special gift. What do you think? It’ll be fun, right?So, just send me your mailing address and I’ll get the postcards out to you. They bring not only their beliefs and traditions to America, but they also bring the story of their family to pass down to future generations. As an added note–the photo on the cover is my mother when she was 4 years old in 1931.Appropriate for all ages.

Book Specials

I hope everyone is doing well and having a great summer.

It's been a while since I've posted but I've been somewhat busy. My new book is finished and should be published shortly. It's a resource/support guide for parents on how to help their children stay away from drugs. If you haven't already visited the blog that will accompany the book, please do so. The project was started after my daughter died in February 2020. That is where you can read her story, find resources, and prevention/intervention information. My purpose in writing the blog and the book is to help prevent teens and young adults from taking the path that Sara took.
