Voyeur By Fiona Cole! What A Great Read!

I’m not going to lie, in the week alone I have read it 3 times… I LOVE IT! Check out my review below!

This was by far one of the best book that I have read this year! I am absolutely in love with Cal and Olivia’s story!
So much in fact that I have found myself going back to re-read certain parts!
Cal is a professor, well built, successful. On the outside he is everything everyone would think he should be but on the inside he is hiding a huge secret that has stopped him from living his life for so long.
He enjoys watching, its basically all he can do. he becomes infatuated by one worker at his favorite club. Olivia.
Olivia works in the club to help her pay for college and she is actually ok with the whole deal.
Its not until Cal and Olivia start to delve into the forbidden romance that we really start to see how broken Cal really is.
I loved the way you could see Cal trying hard to move on and how Olivia was so understanding. I would recommend this to as many people as possible.

Tulsa Crow is so swoon worthy… good god!
Tulsa is the drummer for the break out band the Crow brothers, there are still small time but they are getting bigger with every gig. Tulsa is pretty much your typical rockstar, killer good looks, killer body, killer charm. He gets laid as often as possible but never makes any lasting connections because he just wants to have fun.
*Side bar, can we focus on his name for a bit, I thought it was so unique even though at first it sounded more like a girl name than a man but it grew on me fast! His brothers all have very unique names, River and Jet. I loved it! Now back to the regularly scheduled programming!*
Tulsa and the rest of the Crow brothers end up opening up for another band, The resistance, this is the opportunity of a life time for them! Along with the Farris Wheels, another new band that is up and coming. The lead guitarist and sings is Nikki Farris, she basically goes through life doing what she wants, saying what she wants and not caring about what anyone has to say about it. Of course she is instantly attracted to Tulsa as is he but she thinks him arrogant, cocksure (isn’t that a great word????) and oooo so sexy!
They finally get together keeping it from everyone to make sure the tour goes off without a hitch.
Tulsa ends up falling head over heals in love with this woman and asking her to marry him. 6 weeks into their relationship!
Nikki is attacked by an ex who is crazed and refuses to let her go while Tulsa just can’t keep himself from going in and out of jail for fighting..lol
This was an awesome read! I would recommend to everyone!

1
“What the fuck happened to you, Anya?” were the only words thrown at me as I flashed
into my living quarters, right before being pulled into a crushing embrace by
my mate who was so emotional she kept flashing between being male to female. My
entire body was so numb I couldn’t tell how many times she transformed. Truth
be told, I didn’t care. Being in Kierra’s arms was all that mattered, whether
there was a perfectly sculpted masculine chest or a large pair of succulent
breasts. It meant I was finally home.
After everything that had just transpired, my entire being had felt numb, right down
to the depths of my soul, the feeling going beyond skin and bone-deep. Being
with my Fated One didn’t take all the pain away, but it did at least make me
feel grounded again and helped me to feel something other than the pain of
losing a mother whom I never had a chance to figure out I loved more than I
hated her or vice versa. So, not only did I miss out on having a mom to idolize
when I was young, and fight with and terrorize as a teen, I also would never be
able to confront her as an adult for everything that she had done. Even though
I was more vampire than witch than my sister Tialanna, I still resented being
the one our mother had decided to let go.
My mind replayed what had happened no more than a mere few hours ago…
“Anya, I’m not going to insult you
with apologies.” My left eye twitched at that. I couldn’t help it, and I hadn’t
bothered to try and hide it. She wasn’t supposed to die yet, and she owed me so
much more than an apology. “What I did, I did only because of how much I love
you. The beliefs as they are right now within the witch community? No way would
you have been able to survive that. The king would have taken one look at you
and killed you on sight, no questions asked and no answers needed. Which is
something you girls are going to have to change. Your fire may be gone, but a
flame still burns bright within you, honey. Hone your new element and let it
shine through.”
My mother sucked in one long, final gasp
of air. “I love you girls, all of you, and I know you will make all this
right.”
With that, her eyes glazed over and
her body went completely limp. Looking at my sisters, Tia and Elyssia, with
tears streaming down their faces, my own remained dry. And for a brief moment,
I hated them both. Which was completely unfair. It wasn’t their fault what
happened, any of it. But I couldn’t help the anger I felt for them having been
with this woman for their entire lives, none the wiser that I had even existed.
When I looked back down at my mother’s body, I felt anger at her for abandoning
me and fear at what she had left us to face. There was also the fact that she
had given her element to me so that I could live. There was a turmoil of
emotions dominating for control inside of me.
I allowed myself to sink deeper into Kierra’s embrace, losing myself as her lips
captured mine in a kiss that went beyond physical contact and began to put a
healing balm on my shattered soul. I don’t think I ever referred to her as a
male, even when she was penetrating me as one. Some distant part of my brain
was telling me that this time, however, I needed to help her regain control and
remain in her female form. But right then, neither of us cared about anything except
being as close to one another as possible.
So, when Kierra was finally able to settle on just one form, it didn’t matter to me
that it was her male form. And I also didn’t stop to spell myself against
getting pregnant.
I reached up and ran my hands through now shoulder-length, silky jet-black hair
as Kierra deepened the kiss even more and brought my body flush against a chest
that was all male and packed with smooth, hairless muscles, and an erection
that was impossible to miss. At some point we both must have done away with our
clothes, because before I knew it, we were already on the bed with my legs
wrapped firmly around Kierra’s waist. And we made love, as male and female.
If I were being one-hundred percent honest with myself, I would admit that
Kierra’s male form was exactly what I needed at that moment. I loved making love
to Kierra in her female form, but that wasn’t what I needed at that particular
moment in time.
Kierra entered me hard and strong, and for a couple of moments made no move, leaving
her rock-hard shaft, seemingly growing in length, lying there inside of me, and
rubbing my clitoris with her thick, calloused thumb. My mind blanked out of all
thoughts, and primal instincts took over where all I could do was feel as
Kierra began to thrust, rubbing and hitting against my walls at a perfect pace.
“Harder,” I managed to say, right before I sank my fangs into the throbbing
pulse point that seemed to be calling out to me.
It wasn’t long before juices began flowing out of me as Kierra let out a long
stream of thick, wet heat inside my core. After a few more thrusts, we came
together once more. Without breaking our connection, Kierra rolled over so that
I was the one on top, and just held me as I laid my head down on that sweaty,
muscular chest. We both drifted off, content in each other’s arms, not yet
ready to let reality back in.

I am the pain manager at the Wings of Diablo MC Club. What’s that mean? It means that if my brothers need information they call on me to get it out of you. About the Author:
Rae is a daydreamer, nurse, bookworm, nature enthusiast, wife, momma, animal activist and an optimist. She has lived her entire life in NYC and loves to travel with her family. She believes that sweets should have a larger piece of the nutritional pyramid and that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of the best TV shows ever invented. When she is not working as a nurse in her community, she can either be found reading, writing, or taking a walk while listening to music. She has been writing books in her mind for as long as she can remember but decided that maybe there were others out in the world that would find joy in the words she would put down on the page.

The Biker and the Kidnapped, Hot Read! The Biker’s Virgin By Michelle A. Valentin

I figured that with her being a USA Today and New York Times Bestseller that I was going to jump straight into an awesome plot.. Unfortunately for me that wasn’t the case. It was a good book but I wished there was more plot. Here is my full Goodreads review.

I tried so hard, SO SO HARD. But I just could not forgive this book. It was hot, meaning there were a lot of sex scenes but the plot was lacking so bad for me. It was pretty much anti-climatic in my opinion. I can pretty much some up the whole book right here.
Cade is sent to kidnap Piper who is the daughter of the president of a rival MC club, He ends up falling in love with her and marrying her. This goes against the rules of his MC club. His president ends up being his father and does not punish him for not following through. Someone kills Pipers dad…. Fin
This was the WHOLE book. It was ok for a quick sexy read just not my cup of tea.

A Wonderful Hot Read by Alice Ward- The Island
So who doesn’t love a good dominant CEO, Eli is that to the extreme, meaning that he will pretty much force you to date him…lol.

This was by far the most realistic unrealistic read I have had in a long time. So you have Kendra, who is your College student on her business internship, she was raised by a tough former Navy SEAL so she doesn’t take any mess from anyone.
Eli is the CEO of a successful business and just so happens to choose Kendra to be his intern, so lets start with the unrealistic part of the story.

So the entire book is filled with sexual harassment on Eli’s part, at one point he expects Kendra to give him a back massage because he is the boss and she is the intern. Then he pretty much forces her to join him to the ballet… can someone say GROSS MORALE TURPITUDE?????
of course she declines his advances time and time again.
Now to move on to the realistic portion, they get kidnapped and actually end up stranded on an island. Not only do they have to find a way to make shelter, but the sexual frustration causes them to be petty towards each other, this I agree with, sexual frustration can do that. Then since they do make love and are on an Island there is no birth control meaning that she becomes pregnant, very realistic, then due to the cuts on her back she comes down with an infection. Again super realistic. This was a nice easy read! I would recommend! (hide spoiler)]

I just finished one of her newer works, A Mafia Christmas, and all I can say is YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
It was hot, a bit violent… who doesn’t like a bit of violence, empowering, did I mention HOT???

So Luna is a BADASS mafia godmother! Yea, you know that cold-hearted woman that will roll up on you and just pull the trigger? Luna!
She has grown up despising her mother and her father, and Christmas time. Now that she is older and is the leader of her family she can finally get rid of the loose ends that are known to be her parents.
She has spent her entire life keeping up this persona never letting anyone get close, but then Luca comes back into her life and everything turns upside down. He left her once and she is sure that he will do it again. With her reputation on the line she slowly gives Luca another chance and he does everything in his power to make sure that he keeps her this time!
This story is definitely rated R, but it has a great story line and characters!

My Take On This Re-Make! Mechanica by Betsy Cornwell
I really enjoyed this book it was so different than what all the usual Cinderella remakes are spewing out these days!

I was so surprised, it did go a bit towards Cinder style but the creativity was off the charts!

This was a great take on Cinderella… I am starting to see a bit of a pattern here with all the cinderella books.
SO we all know the story. Nicolette’s parents die leaving her with the wicked step mother and the step sisters who treat her horribly and make her do all the house work and sew them dresses.
The twist here is they live in a time where there was a fae land that they used to trade with in this day and age they are on there way to a war with them so the magic that the fae used to trade with them is no longer leagal in the lands. The fae magic that not many know how to work, except for her deceased mother and now Nicolette. With this fae magic, or the ashes she is able to bring machinery to life. Not only is she a brilliant inventor but she is able to recreate the small horse that her mother leaves for her. Jules.
At the beginning she starts her journey at the market selling things like sewing machines. She falls into a crowd that helps heron her first day. Caro and Fin.
She thinks that she loves Fin so when she goes to the ball and finds out that he is actually the prince she is happy, until she realizes that he is actually in love with Caro who is just a servant and could never be queen.
There is the dance and she runs off leaving the shoe like she does in the regular story but this time instead of riding of into the sunset with the prince she and another merchant go into business to recreate the shoe that she lost, a shoe of glass and gears. Where she should become a millionaire and be able to leave her steps house.
