I really enjoyed reading this book, it was the first from this author for me. Check out this blurb!

Sidney Sinclair was living the dream of any eighteen year-old girl…
A handsome rock star boyfriend, a closet full of designer clothes, a limousine service at her beck and call, and a mansion in the hills of Los Angeles.
Even with all that glamour and excitement at her fingertips, she still feels as if she’s been missing something in her life so she decides to leave.
While trying her best to put her dysfunctional romantic relationship aside and tend to her beloved Granny, Sidney unexpectedly stumbles upon an intriguing emerald pendant boxed away in her grandmother’s closet.
Soon she learns it once belonged to her long-lost mother who committed suicide when she was just a baby. Suddenly feeling emotionally connected to the woman who had birthed her, Sidney begins to wear the necklace.
This sends her on a whirlwind journey that alternates between fantasy and reality…
Almost immediately, she starts having dreams linked to the mysterious pendant. As danger begins to seep into her life, Sidney refuses to remove the necklace and instead documents each dream to help her further understand them. However, she soon begins to wonder if they are dreams meant to bond her to a mother whom she never knew?
Or a subconscious warning that threatens her very life?
My Review
Ok, let me start this by saying from the very beginning I CAN’T STAND Ray, I can’t stand him. He is self-centered, mean and just a complete asshat. I know Sid loves him and all that but ugh, I just wanted to flip him off through out the whole book.
She follows him to Hollywood only to have to come back home because her granny gets sick. Instead of waiting for her or supporting her, he cheats. UGHHHH!
While she is taking care of her grandmother she cleans out the closet and stumbles on a necklace with an emerald, the same one that her mother was wearing in one of the only pictures that she had. After she starts wearing the necklace she begins to have strange dreams.
Now here is where I get confused, Adrian now enters the picture but I can’t tell if he is real or if he is a ghost or something like that. First he conveniently disappears when Sid sends him a drink, then her truck ends up home when she didn’t drive it. Also there are some religious aspects to the book which kind of makes me think that Adrian is the devil.
It does end on a cliffhanger so if you don’t like those make sure you pick up the whole series!
My Rating!

Archer-
I am the master marksman at the Wings of Diablo MC Club. Any target my brothers need me to take down, I will. I am a magician with a fire arm no matter the class, from the small and simple Glock 36 to the powerful .44 Magnum, the big bad shotgun to the sleek and sexy M2010. I have been known to be stoic and calculated. To lay above the rest and smile as each bullet sailed through my target. Once you were in my sights, you go down for the long nap. I used to believe that my fate was sealed by the bullet and my gun, come to find out my life would be turned on its head by Daria. A woman in the wrong place at the wrong time. A woman who is seared into my soul.
Daria-
My whole life I stayed to myself, never wanted to get anyone upset or be a burden to those around me. So when my roommates strong-arm me into going to a party at the Rolling Cobras MC Club house I try to stay as far away from the action as possible. Not that it did me any good, my favorite shirt was ruined, I got hit on by a man missing his two front teeth, oh and I got shot in the chest. Talk about a party. There was one good thing that came from that horrible experience, the hospital set up a trauma counselor, Archer. There is something about his haunted eyes that makes me believe that I can trust again. No one makes my pulse race like he does, makes my body surrender like he does. Even with secrets all around him I have no choice but to submit to him.
