Sunday Spa Treatment

Sunday is the perfect day to set aside to pamper yourself or have a "spa day" with your girlfriends. 

An herbal facial steam is something simple that can be done at home. It will not only hydrate your skin but will also soften the surface and aid in healing any lesions.

For a Pore Perfect Steam
           boil 4 cups of distilled water (some recipes call for water & vinegar)
           remove from heat, add dried herbs, (double amount if using fresh herbs) cover
           allow to steep for about 5 minutes
           place the pot in a safe, stable place where you can sit comfortably for about 10 minutes
           use a bath towel to create a tent over your head, shoulders and the pot
           allow 10-12 inches between the steaming herb pot and your face
           close your eyes, breathe deeply and relax



My favorite wrinkle chaser recipe:      1 Tbsp crushed fennel seeds      2 drops essential oil of rose or rose geraniumAdd the essential oil right before you steam your face

Fun Friday Night with Food

Why go out on Friday night when you can save money and have fun at home. Romance doesn’t need to be frivolous.


Roast marshmallows in the fireplace, drink wine and listen to soft music.
Bake a batch of favorite cookies together. Feed each other warm cookies fresh from the oven.
Have a picnic dinner in the backyard.
Dine by candle light with cloth napkins, tablecloth, fine dinnerware…outdoors.

Thursday 13 - Love Notes

Simple little love notes are a great way of letting someone you love know you are thinking of them. I like to hide notes in hubby's suitcase when he travels and around the house when he's home but I'm at work.

Stash a note somewhere you know your honey will find it. Here are a few of my favorite hiding places...

1. In his underwear drawer.
2.Tapped to the bathroom mirror.
3. Inside the case of his favorite CD.
4. On the visor in the car.
5. In a favorite coffee mug.
6. As a sticky note on the computer monitor.
7. Under his pillow.
8. Inside the latest Bass Pro Shop ad.
9. Wrapped around the dog's collar.
10. Tucked in his sneakers.
11. Taped to the TV.
12. In the refrigerator on a carton of milk.
13. On the TV remote.

Flirty Friday - Love Notes

When hubby is flying around the world, hidden in his suitcase are simple little love notes. These little notes are sometimes sweet sayings to let him know I'm thinking of him. Sometimes, they are dirty notes to give him something to look forward when he comes home.

If you have a special evening planned, set the tone with love notes. A teaser hidden next to his toothbrush will give a kick-start to the day. A sexy text after lunch will add to the excitement.

Don't by a pest, don't send too many notes. Short and simple is key. A note is supposed add a spark to the day without starting an inferno. One small note in the day can lead to an amazing evening.

Love notes can be playful, sassy, shy or erotic. Let your inner goddess out.

Thursday 13 - Unleash Your Inner Goddess

Be the light. Be your own hero. Embrace your femininity. Here is a list of a few ideas to unleash your inner goddess.

1. Go skinny dipping after dark. (Keep bug spray handy).
2. Sit in the backroom of a movie theater with your honey and steal a few kisses like a teenager.
3. Sit in the first row of a roller coaster.
4. Go on a long walk in the woods with your honey and stop to make out.
5. Choose a back table in a restaurant and play footsie with your honey.
6. Take a ride on a motorcycle with your honey.
7. Show your honey some seductive moves to distract him while playing a game of pool.
8. Take a carousel ride. It will remind you of more innocent times and encourage playfulness.
9. Go tent camping. What was that noise?
10. Attend an art gallery or museum. Impress others with your knowledge.
11. Order a chocolate martini in a hotel bar.
12. Have a couples' massage.
13. Rent a convertible for the day. Wrap a scarf around your head and put on a pair of large sunglasses much like movie stars back in the day.

Fancy Pants - A Lesson on Panties

Skivvies, Knickers, Panties, Underwear... whatever they are called should fit comfortably and not be distracting. But who says they have to be boring? Just because they are "sensible" doesn't mean they need to be "granny panties".

#1 rule is to always pick something that fits your body shape. Here's a nice video that explains how to do it.

Pick panties that are an expression of you. Flowers, ribbons and silly prints to reveal your girlish charm. Bold patterns and bright colors to shout you are a girl who likes to laugh. Soft cotton, bright colors, sparkles? 

Select something that speaks to and makes you feel sexy when you are striping them off.

For more magic, buy a simple style and decorate them yourself with ribbons, lace or sparkles.

Furthermore, vigorous sex for half an hour burns 150 calories (you can lose three pounds in a year – if you have sex 7 to 8 times a month). Kissing is also very good for your teeth: the extra saliva released during the act helps to keep the mouth clean – reducing the risk of decay.
