#TastyTuesday - Banana Bread

Grandma always said, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach."

When you are cleaning the kitchen don't throw those brown bananas away!I found a super easy banana bread recipe.

Heat oven to 350'. Grease 9"x5" loaf pan.
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups Jiffy or any baking mix
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (2-3 medium)
1/3 cup chopped nuts - optional

Cream shortening and sugar. Combine remaining ingredients and mix until well blended. Pour into prepared pan. Bake about 55 minutes. Cool on a rack before slicing.

While cleaning the kitchen this morning, I found several bananas left over from last weekend's camping trip. Ewe! I don't like throwing food away and this is a great recipe to use. It's simple and my family loves it. For fun I add a little nutmeg and brown sugar on the top before placing it into the oven.

I like to use farm fresh eggs. They run $2-$3 a dozen.

Visit your local Farmers' Market or watch for signs along country roads.
A farm near me has a large wood sign by the road advertising "Chicken Butt Nuggets".

Celebrating with a Zombie Killer

Fall in Michigan is incredibly beautiful. Colorful trees and the smell of leaves, acorns and apples. Hubby made a bonfire and is looking sexy while cutting wood. For the first time in a kah-zillion years we are not at a sports field on Saturdays. My teen boy & pals are tossing the pigskin to work up an appetite and consume a case of Koegel hot-dogs roasting over the fire pit.  Sitting in my cozy camp chair with my kindle in one hand and a glass in the other. Slightly distracted by hot-bod-honey chopping.

I'm celebrating the lovely autumn evening with a bottle of Zombie Killer Cherry Cyser. It's even good with a slice of the Banana Bread I made on #TastyTuesday. I'm a strong suporter of brews and wine produced in my state. This delightful bottle was created by B. Nektar Meadery in Ferndale, Michigan. I heard about a Gold-Medal winning mead that a bunch of locals have been raving about, so I had to take my shot at it. B. Nektar has a fun sense of humor as you can see with their anti-zombie rhetoric on the bottle story and also on their website.

The label art done by Marcus Christy is very cool. It takes the zombie theme and applies it to a main ingredient, cherries. One cherry is killing the another zombie cherry with a sword while cherry juice blood is splattered everywhere. I save my emtpy bottles of Witches Brew to use in Halloween displays and I believe I'll add this bottle to my collection. Maybe even put in a string of lights for effect.

I was introduced to mead when I was 16 staying with friends in Leicester, England. I've loved it ever since. This mead really coats the palate. It has some body but the tart zing really keeps the sweeter aspects at bay. Apple cidery zip, dry finish, delicious juiciness. The carbonation adds a nice little touch of effervescence that brings the flavors to the tip of your tongue. Ahhh... a great way to celebrate the end of a book.

Oh, oh... a zombie plot bunny just limped by. Hmmm.... will I write a zombie erotic romance story next? Ewe.

Why am I suddenlyin the mood to watchWarm Bodies?

#Thursday13 - Flirty Quotes & Sayings

1. “I am not a sexy woman, I’m not beautiful, I’m not a sex kitten, I don’t flirt with people, yet I’ve been tagged more of sex symbol than women who truly are and I that’s solely because I don’t reveal too much: people are curious.” Anna Held

3. “To me, there is no greater act of courage than being the one who kisses first.” – Janeane Garofalo
4. “Stolen kisses are always sweetest.” – Leigh Hunt
5. “‘In love, there is always one who kisses and one who offers the cheek.” – French Proverb

7. “I’m fairly in control and I don’t like to flirt particularly. I mean, obviously if I meet someone who I think is hot, of course I’ll want to flirt with him, But in general I don’t use it in day-to-day life.” Katie Price
8. “You know, I’m not really any good at working out when people are flirting with me. And I think I’m too flirtatious with people I’m trying not to flirt with! What I am good at is making people feel uncomfortable. I don’t want to but it always ends up happening!” - Dee Dee Myers
9. “Whoever loves above all the approach of love will never know the joy of attaining it”. – Antoine

#TastyTemptaions Tuesday - Chocolate & Wine!

I love chocolate (the darker, the better). I love cherries and I love wine.
On a whim, I bought a bottle of Cocobon Wine. I liked the description on the lable.
Experience Cocobon, a harmonious blend that tantalizes the senses and transports you along a spell-binding journey to Nirvana. Become immersed in deep crimson tones that deliver decadent aroma and flavor, from dark cherry to rich vanilla, mocha and cocoa.Oh the lable wasn't kidding!  This beverage is an orgasm for the tounge. When inhaling the arroma, the scent was sharp but sublte with only the faintest hint of berries.  The smell carries dark raspberries with vanilla and the flavor is even better. At first you taste a rich full flavor of red fruits. The soft, mild tannins were completely overpowered by the luscious flavors of rich vanilla and dark chocolate. This powerful combination then melted into a blueberry finish with just a hint of bite to help the flavor linger on in the mouth. Even after you swallow, the flavors continue to dance on the back of your tongue.I highly recomend to enjoy this drink slowly for the wonderful experience!  Perhaps the wine is so appealing because it was created by a lady winemaker Georgetta Dane.It takes a woman to know what a woman really wants in a wine! She continues her journey at Cocobon, where she harnesses the power of all her senses and creates a Zen-like balance at the intersection of art, science, and soul.

#FetishFriday - Handcuffs & Silk

Handcuffs are an important accessory for a cop costume but also can be a lot of fun in the bedroom. Keep in mind, handcuffs used in sex play are made to be comfortable and safe so don’t borrow your buddy’s police issue. Having restricted movement will intensify the senses and make for very sensual loving.

A recent study found that men who engage in bondage say they feel less sad, nervous or hopeless than men do generally. They're not markedly different from other men-bondage may be just a way "to express their heightened interest in sex and sexual permissiveness," says Richard O de Visser, PhD, author of the study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine. "It's simply a sexual interest that's attractive to a minority, and not indicative of past abuse or difficulty with 'normal' sex," Visser says.
Handcuffs can make for some erotic fun.

#SneakPeekSunday - Crow Magic

His mission of spying on the woman Madame Eve matched for him changed into an all-morning event. The minute Lucy walked out of the cottage he’d sensed her spirit calling to him and begging release. It was apparent as soon as she stepped off the porch to follow the crow that she would make a transformation easily. Her innocence brought out his protective streak, yet he wanted to teach her everything and take her to heights of passion. His pride swelled that he’d been the chosen one for the task.

Of all the people he’d met and the women he experienced intimately, she hypnotized him with her words. He lusted after not only her beauty but her soul, with the hesitant demeanor and even her wild hair separating her from all others. Beautiful organic shades of red and orange were revealed as the locks danced in the wind. Never had he seen hair like that before. So alive!

Her pale skin altered his opinion of the color white. He’d always considered the pallid shade boring. Her skin was that of an angel, light as the beach sand, smooth as milk and honey. He recognized the presence of the Water Spirit and noticed a calming of her aura. Her invitation to sit with her on the beach delighted him. He’d smelled magic in the blood he drew on her wrist. Her lovely eyes focused his attention on the eagerness of her soul yearning to be set free, stirring a longing obscured under personal responsibilities. His crow begged to claim her. Could it be possible she possessed a spirit animal akin to his own?

Because of her keen response to the bird, he predicted her reaction to the man would be more fervent. His cock grew hard, his palms itched to touch the milky skin and he hungered to taste her.

“You have been a mouse too long.” He whispered to the wind, “It is time to let the fiery angel fly. Trust me. Believe in me. I will show you how to soar.”

The crow within demanded to possess her. Mine.

Fetish Friday - Gotta Have Those Shoes!

Do you and your honey like to role play? How about "Shoe Salesman"? Have you ever bought a sexy pair of shoes?
A 19th Century opera started the tradition of a man drinking champagne out of the brides shoe. In 2009, a shoe manufacture made a glass shoe just for this purpose.

Sigmund Freud considered the foot binding practiced by the Chinese as a form of fetishism. Qing Dynasty sex manuals listed 48 different ways of playing with women's bound feet.

The movie  There's Something About Mary  featured a former boyfriend of Mary with a shoe fetish. He tried to steal her shoes.

In the animated comedy show  Family Guy  the character Glenn Quagmire has a foot and shoe fetish, among other fetishes.

In Lady Gaga's music video "Paparazzi (explicit version)" by Johnas Akerlund there is a scene in which a man is licking the singer's black high heeled pump.

****************FACT: According to psychologists, the shoe and the foot are the most common sources of sexual fetishism in Western society.

Hmm... come on ladies... we get pedicures, paint out toe nails, wear toe rings, and slide our feet into six inch heeled shoes... we know we like it.
Besides, foot rubs are divine!

#TuesdayTeaser - Handcuffs & Silk Excerpt

A 1 Night Stand Story
Excerpt~

The blades of the chopper sliced through the heat of the night as it flew over the City of Lights. Casinos glowed in various hues of blue, plum, gold, green, and silver, casting a magical aura. Spotlights danced in the night, graceful fingers tickling the sinister side of Vegas. Unsuspecting people moved about, flitting from place to place, searching for excitement and fulfillment while cars in traffic jams occasionally brought the pulsing arteries in the heart of the city to a temporary halt.

Being a Las Vegas cop, Steph recognized the evil lurking in the shadows of the beautiful city, also known as Sin City. As the chopper made a turn, she viewed the vast landscape as an artist’s canvas. The awesome structures designed and built by nameless men. So many lives below. Where there is sin and sadness, one will also find love and happiness.

With a deep sigh, Steph continued to gaze at the site, wondering where she fit into the street party of existence. Not a single malicious bone in her body, yet a monster lurked inside, crying to be set free. And, despite the desire to have a special someone to share a lifetime of love and happiness, meaningless one-night stands never filled the emptiness inside. Lately, living and breathing her job had become her reason for lack of a social life. That, and always being looked at as one of the guys and a hard ass.

Some of the cops’ wives had made it their mission to fix her up with someone. Despite their efforts to feminize her, she intimidated the men they’d found for her. Not considered butch—she had all the right curves in all the right places and could wear sexy clothing that normally only looked good on a model—but everyone knew how tough she could be.

Controlling the power hidden deep inside her proved to be difficult and had ruined many relationships. Her last boyfriend liked to try kinky things, but had his limits. She’d gone out with a guy who’d insisted she be submissive to him, but that felt completely false and ended shortly after it began.

What’s wrong with me?

Frustrated at her inability to escape her reputation, she’d applied with an online dating service, 1NightStand. Not a regular matchmaking site, but more upscale; the mysterious owner, Madame Evangeline, had an amazing ability to find just the right person to satisfy one’s needs. Or so Steph had been told.

Her cell phone vibrated. Glancing at the screen, she noticed an email from 1NightStand. Instinct told her Eve was probably letting her know the dating service could not match her up. To avoid disappointment until back on the ground, Steph put the phone back in its holster.

The chopper began its descent.
