The Good Girl by Tracy Reed - #NewAdultFling

“The Good Girl” Part One by Tracy Reed is part of the Fling Box Set coming out June 30

Fling BoxSet photo fling_box_set_mockup_v5_zps2ldnlg96.jpg

Blurb:
Gabriella Townsend has been patiently waiting for her dream job.  When she’s presented with the dream, it’s not exactly what she was expecting.  She was hoping to work her way up the corporate ladder.  Instead, one phone call and an office number on a slip of paper, lands her on the executive floor.

After a month working for the elusive, handsome and sexy, Phillippe Marchant, he offers her a life changing assignment…the position of “girlfriend.”  Terrified of her feelings for him and the possibility of losing her job, she’s not sure what to do.

EXCERPT:
“Tony, make sure Marcos knows to go to my place and check on things.  Have him forward anything that looks important to the D.C. office, and I’ll see you on board.”
Now I was confused.  I thought Tony was the driver.  Who the crap is Marcos?  I’m surrounded by strange men.  I looked down briefly.  When I raised my head, my eyes landed on a very tall, young, hot man walking towards me.  My body reacted in a way I had never experienced.  I was trembling from head to toe, and a strange sensation settled in the lower half of my body.
I’ve never seen an executive or man that looked like this.  Most of the executives at Morgan Grant were older and definitely not this fine.  This man’s skin looked like rich black coffee.  I wanted to touch his face to see if it felt as smooth as it looked.  He was wearing a light grey suit and a simple white shirt, with the first few buttons undone to reveal more of that beautiful dark skin.  He continued toward me and his spicy scent filled up the plane.  This couldn’t be…
“Phillippe, we finally meet.”  He extended his hand and I saw his guns.  My God, every muscle in his body was at attention and now he was giving me permission to touch him.
“Hello.”  I shook his hand and a spark erupted.  No really, an electric shock.
“Must be the carpet,” he joked.
            “Sir,”Gil appeared.
“Gil, thank you for taking care of Miss Townsend.  Once we get on our way, please serve lunch.  I haven’t eaten since this morning.  When Tony gets back, tell the pilot wheels up.  Thank you.”
“Yes sir.”  Gil disappeared to the rear of the plane.
“Gabriella,”he looked at me and the most salacious thought crossed my mind.

A #ScintillationSunday Showcase of Marketing Exec's Widow @AuthorTinaGayle

Blurb for Marketing Exec's Widow

Needing to revive her life and jump start her heart, Jennifer Larson is facing the biggest challenge of her life, moving into an unplanned future. While the rest of the Executives Wives' Club continue to mourn their husbands, Jen is tempted into the future by a sexy chiropractor, Hagan Chaney.

But does he love her or her money?

 photo TG-EWC-MEWidow-432x648_zps2e99d362.jpg

Excerpt:

An enticing male scent floated through the air, a second before a hand gripped the doorframe by her shoulder.

Every female gene sprang to attention at his close proximity.

Desire poured through her, drenching her with emotions she hadn’t felt in months, hell, maybe even years. Her knees wobbled and she staggered into the doorframe, but remained standing.

Hagan peered over her shoulder and blocked her retreat. “Not bad, if I want to have another office suite up here. I can tear out this wall and make a larger lobby, or close off the doorway and create another entrance into the room.”

He wandered to the next bedroom.

She gulped in a quick breath and air screamed back into her lungs. The residual scent of his citrusy cologne flowed in too and prompted her out-of-control hormones to form images of him: lying in bed, on top of her, his chest nestled against hers, his lips a breath away from…

Oh, my, a year without sex and I’m losing it.

A #NewAdultFling - Entangled Summer by Michele Barrow-Belisle

Entangled Summer by Michele Barrow-Belisle  is one of the titles in the box set

Fling
coming out June 30, 2015for a limited time.

Fling BoxSet photo fling_box_set_mockup_v5_zps2ldnlg96.jpg
Blurb: They say our dreams mask hidden secrets. Secret desires. Secret fears. Secret lives. 20 year old Nora Dultry’s dreams hide even more. They’re a gateway to the man of her dreams and an escape from her painful past. She’s fantasized about him for years, and when he magically walks into her summer teaching gig, she never dreamed she’d question whether he was the one she truly wanted. But her former fling Troy Belassaro doesn’t just own Wanderlust Academy... he’s her boss, he still has her heart strings tied in knots, and he’s hiding secrets of his own. One of them will be her dream come true, one her waking nightmare. Untangling the truth could make this summer job, her last.

Short Excerpt:
The red velvet curtains parted and the lights dimmed. It was only a preview, a way to give the students an idea of how all of the elements came together to make a whole production. The music, lighting, voice acting and of course the marionettes… the part he’d given me, and the one thing of the three I knew the least about.
“You’ve got this Nora.” Troy reassured me. “Just keep moving your hands, and don’t let your strings get caught.”
So that’s what I did. Or what I tried to do. I held my puppet next to his. He danced his in a two-step, to the delight of our young audience. I wiggled the sticks like I’d been shown. Immediately my puppet tripped over both of its feet and hurled uncontrollably into Troy’s. It was as if I was dancing on stage next to him myself. Equally awkward, and totally embarrassing. The snickers and giggles grew into an uproar of laughter.
Troy groaned. “Thought you said you knew how to do this.” He moved behind me, the full length of his body sliding against me as he did. A tingle rippled down my spine.
I looked up over my shoulder at him. “No, you said, I knew how. I said I was all thumbs.”
He glanced down, his face a mere inch from mine. “How is your thumb?”
“Fine.”
“And…” he scanned me from head to toe, “the rest of you.”
“Also fine.” I blushed, remembering the way he’d pulled my bruised thumb to his lips, before he pulled my lips to his lips, and then…
He tugged. I tugged. Until all that remained was a tangled mess of strings and bodies. Wooden bodies.
“Perfect.” He deadpanned. “You didn’t want strings, well, we’re entangled now aren’t we.”
I couldn’t tell if he was serious or not. Either way, he was right. We were entangled. And there were most definitely strings attached.

Here's a little snippet of the story-

Strolling down the grocery aisle, Brooke Janson spotted a familiar man dressed in black. Garrett Sawyer was the one person in the world, she didn’t expect to meet, see, or run into in a huge superstore.

Memories flooded through her mind, and she adjusted the spaghetti strap of her shirt.  Unable to pull her gaze from his lean, muscular frame encased in a black T-shirt and jeans, she silently wished she’d worn something sexier than an old pair of jeans and a tank top. She glanced down and remembered what she looked like in high school when they met.

As an overweight teen, she’d worked hard to get his attention, had even helped him pass a few classes.  They had become friends, and she’d decided he was everything she ever wanted in a man.

At the end of the school year, he’d left for college. After graduating, he’d returned. They had reconnected at a party where she introduced him to her best friend, Janet. They started dating and married not long after her first year of community college. Sadly, less than a year later, it ended in a divorce because she cheated on him with one of her classmates.

Suddenly unsure how to handle the situation, she choked out his name. To her ultimate horror, he turned.

His forehead wrinkled into a frown before he smiled and pushed his cart down the aisle. “Hello, Brooke.”

SHADOW'S EDGE by @JamiGrayAuthor is Free for a Limited Time! #freeread #uf #pnr

" This fantastic paranormal action novel is quite possibly the best book I've read this year. I could not put it down, and had to exercise serious self-control to keep from staying up all night to finish it. " – The Romance Reviews, 5/5 stars

"This book has everything in it, you have your Fey, Demons, Witches/Wizards, and Shifters. What more could you ask for?! Plus you have a great story to follow. The story and characters flowed so well together, it was like watching a movie in my head! Book 2 here I come!!" – Paranormal Romance & Authors That Rock, 5/5 Fangs

SHADOW'S EDGE: BOOK 1 OF THE KYN KRONICLES Everyone fears what hunts in the shadows—especially the monsters… When the supernatural lurks in the shadows of the mundane, hunting monsters requires unique skills, like those of Raine McCord. A series of deaths threatens to reveal the Kyn community and forces her to partner with the sexy Gavin Durand. As the trail leads to the foundation haunting Raine’s childhood, she and Gavin must unravel lies and betrayals to discover not only each other, but the emerging threat to them and the entire magical community.

They were passing two darkened buildings when the hushed sound of metal against cloth whispered through the air. It was followed by the soft sound of water squelching under a foot. She didn’t falter, and neither did Gavin. A couple of steps more and she had both wrist blades in her hands. The black coated blades blended into her own dark garments, their silver runes turned in toward her body so no light would reflect off them. She shot a look at Gavin and saw his hand down by his thigh, a long darkened blade tucked close to his leg. She’d have to remember to ask where he kept that thing. His free hand made a series of short motions. She gave a tiny nod to let him know she understood. At the next dark opening, they would turn a corner, and she would fade into the shadows to wait. The plan was to let the mystery stalker turn the corner and continue to follow them before he realized one of them had disappeared. They were banking on the fact most people wouldn’t be able to see clearly in the inky darkness. As they turned the corner, she made her move toward the shadows. Gavin continued forward. In just steps, both realized they weren’t alone in the alleyway. It seemed the bad guys were a bit more prepared than usual. Three more figures spread out from inside the alley. She spun around, putting her back to Gavin’s. She was slightly miffed when she saw that instead of one person, two individuals blocked the opening. Damn, how had she missed the second one?

Tempered Hearts by Pamela S. Thibodeaux a #RockingSummerRomance

 photo 8641250_zps148a0747.jpg
Title: Tempered Hearts (book 1 in Tempered series)
Blurb: Rancher Craig Harris and veterinarian Tamera Collins clash from the moment they meet.  Innocence is pitted against arrogance as tempers rise and passions ignite to form a love as pure as the finest gold, fresh from the crucible and as strong as steel.  Thrown together amid tragedy and unsated passion, Tamera and Craig share a strong attraction that neither accepts as the first stages of love.  Torn between desire and dislike, they must make peace with their pasts and God in order to open up to the love blossoming between them.  It is a love that nothing can destroy when they come to understand that only when hearts are tempered, minds are opened and wills are softened can man discern the will of God for his life.   Excerpt: Tamera awoke in a mild state of panic and confusion. Glancing around, she realized where she was and who was beside her. A blush warmed her cheeks as she struggled to sit up. She released the filly and fumbled with the front of her gown. “I couldn’t sleep.” she explained, glancing into the steel gray eyes. His gaze, soft and warm like liquid metal, made her blush harder as he brushed strands of hay out of her hair with a gentleness that seemed out of character. Craig knew he was treading on dangerous ground, that people were expecting them, but couldn’t seem to get past the moment at hand. “I guess a kiss is out of the question,” he queried, his voice tender, gaze unwavering. Emotions, raw and unfamiliar, shivered through her. Tamera attempted to scoot away from him, emitted a shaky little laugh and tried to quench the feelings escalating to frightening proportions. “A kiss? Why would you want a kiss? I didn’t think you even liked me.” Craig wound his hand in her thick hair, stopping her movements. “Like has nothing to do with desire,” he moaned and crushed her to him as his mouth covered hers in a thorough kiss. “Absolutely nothing,” he assured as she clung to his shirt and trembled in his arms. Kobo #Sale on Summer's Growth by @authorTinaGayle #mystery

Hi everyone,

To celebrate the beginning of summer and the kids getting out of school, I have put my book Summer's Growth on sale at Kobo.

https://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/ebook/summer-s-growth-1

What if we had family spirits that guided our lives?

In Summer's Growth, Amber Harrison is given the opportunity to become the Winston family keeper. She runs the family trust and lives in the family home.

Problem is she has to prove herself by solving a two hundred year old mystery.

The family spiritual guides try to help her find the answers to the disappearance of her great, great, great, great, grandmother.

Yet, there are forces which don't want her to find the answer. Luckily, the ghost of her grandmother is helping and saves Amber's life on more than one occasion.

Can Amber solve the mystery or will those who don't want t
he mystery revealed kick her out of her new job permanently by killing her?

Excerpt -

Mattie raised her chin as if ready to receive the blow. The resistance in her eyes warned of the fireworks to come. “Amber isn’t a stranger. She’s part of the family.”
Heedless of the danger, Cynthia forged ahead. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Having forgotten Josh, Amber jumped at the sound of his voice. “Mom, don’t you remember? Amber told us she’s part of the Winston family tree.”
Locked in combat with Mattie, Cynthia didn’t shift her gaze away from her sister. “I believe there’s more to it. Would you care to tell us the rest of the story, Mattie?”
She shrugged. “I have decided to name Amber as heir to the estate.”
Stunned, questions shot through Amber’s head like bullets. What? Did Winston Manor really belong to Mattie? Then who was Jonathan? And why did he write...
Cynthia jumped to her feet and screamed at the top of her lungs. “What in the hell do you think you’re doing? The estate is locked up in a trust fund.”
She threw her napkin on the table and slammed her hand down over it. “You idiot, just because this girl claims to be part of the family is no reason to award her the estate. We’re talking about my family legacy too.”
The sheer fury resonating from Cynthia’s body frightened Amber. Were the two sisters about to rumble?
“You have no right to hand it over to her or anyone else.” Cynthia pointed her finger at Mattie and continued with her tirade. “If you don’t want to be in charge of the trust fund, let Josh handle it. We’re your closest living relatives.”
The color drained from Mattie’s face, but she remained composed. “I’m sorry, but my mind is made up.”
“You’ll regret this. I won’t stand by and let you steal away my inheritance.” Cynthia pivoted on her heels and without a backward glance stomped to the door. “Come on Josh, we’re leaving.”
In shock, Amber waited for the scene to unfold. Josh stood, walked to his aunt, kissed her cheek and followed his mother out of the room.
The front door clicking shut didn’t interrupt the hushed sound of hurt radiating from Mattie.
Impatient for answers, Amber couldn’t remain silent. “This doesn’t make any sense. The letter I received said I’m supposed to inherit the estate from someone named Jonathan. Not you.”
A sad expression marred Mattie’s face and she patted Amber’s hand. “I know. I’m the current owner-slash-keeper of the estate. When I die, you’ll inherit the estate. Until then, you’ll be the new keeper or lead trustee.”
“But I don’t understand. It’ll be years before you die.” Amber swiveled her head around and studied Mattie's pale complexion. “Unless you’re sick?”
“No, but I’ve had the responsibility of the estate for a long time. I need to learn to do something else.” She shoved away her plate. “This arrangement will offer you the chance to learn what it takes to be the keeper. And it will free me up to figure out what I want to do. A nice exchange if you ask me.”
“But why didn’t you tell me this before?” Amber suspected more to the omission.
“I didn’t think it mattered.” Mattie rose, lifted her plate and walked into the kitchen.
“But Cynthia is your sister.” Amber rushed to gather up her dishes. “Shouldn’t one of them inherit the estate?”

The sale ends Monday, June 15.

Hope you enjoy and have an awesome summer.
