Thought for the day

You got to Stop and Smell the roses
You've got to count your many blessings everyday
You're gonna find your way to heaven is a rough and rocky road
If you don't Stop and Smell the roses along the way

Can you name the song and singer of this song?

I'll give you a hint.

Different Color Roses

With Valentine's just around the corner, I thought I would refresh everyone's memory on what the different colors of roses mean. You don't want to send the wrong impression.

Red Roses say, "I love you." And are the ultimate symbol of romance and enduring passion.

Pale Pink Roses imply grace, gentleness and joy.

Deep Pink Roses say, "Thank you."

Lilac Roses indicate the sender fell in love at first sight with the recipient and is encha...

Coming Soon Egg-cerpt Exchange

Ash Wednesday is almost here and with it comes the egg-cerpt exchange.

As you can see a number of authors have signed up to have their egg-cerpt posted on my site.

I love doing this because it gives my reader a chance to learn about exciting new authors.

Come back and check them out.

Recovering from HWG Retreat

The plot session was intense. With excellent information, it takes a great deal of time to get it all done. Characters, story lines, arcs, it includes everything in the program.

Thanks Elle and Delilah for providing me with a great way to plot my book.
Heartland Writers Group puts on an awesome event.

Why not

Heading to a Writer's Retreat

HWG is hosting their Writer's Retreat this weekend.

I love going to this conference, not only do I get to hang out with my friends but I learn something new too.

Guest speakers include Elle James and Delilah Devlin. Check them out at http://www.rosescoloredglasses.com/ for all the great classes they offer.

We're doing the plotting session. I'm hoping to plot my next book.

Here's to a great weekend,

Tina

Dream

"We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true."

Woodrow Wilson
28th US President
