Hello and Welcome to my
January Newsletter
Its 2020, and can you believe it, that January is nearly at an end. Where does the time go?
Finally, after 7 long weeks of recovering from a broken wrist, I have started writing/editing again on my new manuscript. Cant believe just how much I have missed it. Cheshire Cat grin from ear to ear here.
What Am I Currently Working On
At the moment, I am writing & editing my fourth book in The Lepidoptera Vampire Series called 'Crestwell'. Crestwell is currently sitting at 47,033 words and counting. I haven't decided on a book cover yet, but there is one thing I know for definite, and that is, it will have the colorful butterfly design again.

What series have I been watching lately
When I broke my wrist and couldn't write for 7 weeks, I decided that I not only would catch up on some reading but also some TV shows that I have been wanting to watch, but never previously had the time.
To say I was surprised by the series called 'Titans' on Netflix is an understatement. What an awesome series. If you are a DC fan, then this series is for you. Trailer below for you to watch.
Titans follows Robin as he emerges from the shadows of Gotham City to lead a new group of heroes - Raven, Starfire, and Beast Boy. The newly formed crew of young superheroes join forces to fight their inner demons and save the planet from evil. They soon realize that alone they're broken, but together they're Titans.

What have I been reading lately
I have just finished reading 'You Don't Know Me' by Sara Foster. I have really enjoying the story line. This was a real page turner, and I couldn't put it down. Definitely a recommended read.

What Am I Currently Working On
Currently I am working on the fourth book in The Lepidoptera Vampire Series, and working through the romance part of the story-line, which is coming along nicely. Crestwell is currently sitting at 46,819 words and counting.

A big thank you to the management and staff at Dymocks Morley for having me in your store on the 2nd November 2019 for a book signing of all my titles. Thoroughly enjoyed the day, and chatting with readers.
A big shout out and thank you to a lovely gentleman who at my book signing, brought 2 of my books called Attraction The Lepidoptera Vampire Series. When he came out the shop, he only wanted to take one books and donate the other one he had paid for to someone who came along and wanted to buy the same book but couldn't afford to.Then he proceeded to give me the receipt for the one book. How nice is that. I was so taken back by his kind gesture. Goes to show there are still some beautiful people in this world. Thank you again. I am just sorry that I didn't get a picture or your name. I ended up giving the book to this lovely deserving couple below.

The Lepidoptera Vampire Series

What Am I Currently Working On
Currently I am working on the fourth book in The Lepidoptera Vampire Series, and working through the romance part of the story-line, which is coming along nicely. Crestwell is currently sitting at 46,819 words and counting.

A big thank you to the management and staff at Dymocks Morley for having me in your store on the 2nd November 2019 for a book signing of all my titles. Thoroughly enjoyed the day, and chatting with readers.
A big shout out and thank you to a lovely gentleman who at my book signing, brought 2 of my books called Attraction The Lepidoptera Vampire Series. When he came out the shop, he only wanted to take one books and donate the other one he had paid for to someone who came along and wanted to buy the same book but couldn't afford to.Then he proceeded to give me the receipt for the one book. How nice is that. I was so taken back by his kind gesture. Goes to show there are still some beautiful people in this world. Thank you again. I am just sorry that I didn't get a picture or your name. I ended up giving the book to this lovely deserving couple below.
WEDDING PLANS
Well, our big day is nearly here. One week to go now. My partner and I are so thrilled about our upcoming nuptials. I feel so fortunate to have such a great man in my life.

The Lepidoptera Vampire Series

Another month has come and nearly gone. I have been so busy in October that I'm not sure where the time has gone as it has just slipped through my fingers. I wish it would slow down so that I could get more writing done and enjoy each and every moment of life a bit more.

What Am I Currently Working On
I currently working on the fourth book in The Lepidoptera Vampire Series, and the story-line is now starting to come along nicely. Lately I seem to be doing a lot of research for this book. Whether it be looking up luxurious homes and their interior and then trying to describe them into my book, or even down to looking up cafe's in Paris & Zurich and their menus; its all very time consuming.
What Have I Been Up To
TRAINING
This month I have had learn how to set up some Pre-order forms, using Google docs and forms & Google Drive, for my upcoming multi author signing events. What I found amazing is just how much time it took me to learn how to do these forms. In no time at all, I watched a step by step video online and taught myself how to fill in the form and with the help of some fellow authors, I was then able to submit them online, so that readers can now pre-order my books for these events next year. A big thank you to JO, Samantha, Demelza and Rania for your help.

October Newsletter
Another month has come and nearly gone. I have been so busy in October that I'm not sure where the time has gone as it has just slipped through my fingers. I wish it would slow down so that I could get more writing done and enjoy each and every moment of life a bit more.

What Am I Currently Working On
I currently working on the fourth book in The Lepidoptera Vampire Series, and the story-line is now starting to come along nicely. Lately I seem to be doing a lot of research for this book. Whether it be looking up luxurious homes and their interior and then trying to describe them into my book, or even down to looking up cafe's in Paris & Zurich and their menus; its all very time consuming.
What Have I Been Up To
TRAINING
This month I have had learn how to set up some Pre-order forms, using Google docs and forms & Google Drive, for my upcoming multi author signing events. What I found amazing is just how much time it took me to learn how to do these forms. In no time at all, I watched a step by step video online and taught myself how to fill in the form and with the help of some fellow authors, I was then able to submit them online, so that readers can now pre-order my books for these events next year. A big thank you to JO, Samantha, Demelza and Rania for your help.

The Romance Writers Association has just announce that they will be holding a RWA20 conference in August 2020 in Perth. I have been lucky enough to score a place at this conference, where I will be able to attend workshops and educational opportunities to further my career in writing and get to meet some lovely likeminded people.
