Newsletter July 2018
Hello and Welcome to my July Newsletter.
Whats been happening lately...
As most of my lovely readers know, I have been recovering at home for the past nine weeks from a brain tumor and cyst operation. This one is the third operation in two years, and the worst one yet. According to my surgeon and radiation specialist I will need to have radiation treatment sometime this year which should stop the growth of the tumor & cyst. Fingers crossed... The treatment is for six weeks, five days a week. I am not looking forward to some of the side affects though. One being hair loss. But if that's what it takes to kill it off, I am up for the challenge. Will keep you updated on my progress once I start the radiation treatment.
In the last couple of weeks, I have been feeling a bit better and have been able to start writing/editing again. It's amazing how much I have missed the writing/editing process, and do enjoy every moment of creating a fantasy world.
My big news is that I have started editing a new novel, which I initially started to write in 2012. Still not sure what I am going to call my new book, which is a romance set in Perth & Seattle. It's a tale about an Australian woman who experiences a sudden unexpected tragedy and has to let go of the past and look into the future. She is confronted with death, anxiety, desire & conflict. Currently the book sits at 135,616 thousand words and is growing day by day. I must say I am looking forward to finishing the first edit, so I can start the next edit and then send off to my Editor.
In the meantime whilst I am editing my novel, I have selected a book cover designer to design my new book cover. Once we have this finalized I will be able to show you what it will look like. Exciting times ahead...

Proof Delivered
Woohoo... the proof of Affirmation - The Lepidoptera Vampires - Book Three has finally turned up today. Have check it over and it just requires a few alterations to be done and then another proof to be printed.
