It’s been five years since Ten Beach Road’s Avery Lawford first sang the praises of Cheez Doodles. From Bella Flora’s veranda to poolside at Max Golden’s Art Deco Streamline South Beach home and on rock legend William Hightower’s private Islamorada island, Avery has stood firm in her allegiance to, and unbridled enthusiasm for, her personal ambrosia.
But really, how do we know she’s right? I listen to her, but when was the last time she compared Cheez Doodles to other cheesy puffs? Quite frankly, I’m not certain a Cheeto has ever crossed her lips. With all respect to Avery, I think it’s time to find out which of these two leading puffed cheese snacks really is the reader favorite.
So please accept my Cheez Doodle Challenge. Dare to do a taste test and let me know which is your favorite. To do so, simply grab a handful of each—or a full bag if you must! New Ten Beach Road Novel, New Giveaway, New Website!
I’m so excited to be sharing the cover and this update on my next Ten Beach Road novel, SUNSHINE BEACH. This time Maddie, Avery, Nikki, and the rest of the cast and crew of Do Over are fighting to take back control of the show while rehabbing a mid-century hotel that hits close to home for them and me. I grew up on St. Pete Beach where my fictional Sunshine Hotel and Beach Club sits just down the road from Bella Flora and nestles up against the historic Don CeSar. It was inspired by The Rellim Hotel, where I spent the long, wonderful summer days of my childhood. (And allegedly learned to swim before I could walk.)
I’m already having fun anticipating the publication of the new book. I gave my website a “do over,” and I’m marking the start of the Countdown to Ten Beach Road with just that—Ten Beach Road. I’ve got five copies of the mass market edition ready to give away to five winners. Just enter below for a chance to win.
