Game Night
Saw this last night and loved it! Jason Bateman is excellent in virtually everything he's ever done and this sees him at his best. It's very quick witted and a lot of the best jokes are almost lost in the quick-fire dialogue.

Westworld: Season 2
Just finished binge watching Season 2 of Westworld and whilst my brain is still trying to catch up, I think, if anything, it was a stronger series than the (also excellent) Season 1.
The action picks up only minutes after the shocking Season 1 finale, and very quickly we are thrust into numerous different story arcs and time-lines as we slowly learn how the ‘Hosts’ have turned against their human creators.
Lots of plot twists and jumps in narrative that make it hard to follow, but stick it out and you will be rewarded with a strong finale that clears the decks for Season 3 to take a new direction. It can be confusing, but at least in this season all the story arcs are heading in the same direction and unlike similar shows (Lost or Game of Thrones) we do actually get to a conclusion by the finale.
Oh, and we get to see two new parks! ‘Maharajah World’ and ‘Shogun World’ are just as brutal as the original.
Westworld remains a top, fascinating watch with some great performances. If you haven’t managed to catch either of the seasons yet then I’m jealous that you can watch both seasons back-to-back in one sitting.
Be warned though, your brain may not be able to take it!!

Is this really happening?
I still can’t believe it! England win their first ever penalty shoot out and book a place in the World Cup Quarter Finals…!!
Having watched so may disappointing exits from major tournaments, I think I’m still in shock that we actually won!
Just think, only Sweden, Russia or Croatia stand in the way of England making a World Cup Final..!

So sad to see Germany make an early exit from the World Cup with a 2-0 loss to South Korea

It wasn't cricket, but Panama were hit for six today by a rampant England!
6-1 was the final result with a hat-trick from captain Kane. England now breeze into the last 16 and I'm sure there are a few teams out there that won't fancy taking us on....

Bit of a bum-clencher today, but thanks to a brilliant 110 not out from Jos Butler, England chased down the 205 needed for victory and win the series 5-0.
