Indie Author Interview: Hannah Heath

Welcome to another of my famous author interviews! Yes, they really are famous. Just go with me on this.

Today, I’m interviewing the very talented Hannah Heath, who’s embarking on a very cool writing project this year. She’s releasing a series of short stories called The Terebinth Tree Chronicles, which serve as prequels to her to-be-published novel The Stump of the Terebinth Tree. The first of these stories, “Colors of Fear,” is coming to Amazon and Barnes & Noble (in both ebook and paperba...

The Great Book Review Explosion of 2018

In this blog post, I’ll be addressing one of my 2018 thingies. I’m not going to use the word that rhymes with “besoplution,” because using that word basically sabotages goal-setting from the start.

The thingy in question is my blogging schedule, which has been all over the place ever since the day I started blogging. In fact, for all intents and purposes, I have not had a blogging schedule until now. But since I’ve started a regular podcast, I feel the need to bring a little sanity to the res...

What’s Your Favorite Beaumont and Beasley Quote?

Good day. I am Malcolm Blackfire, Headmaster of Warrengate Academy of Advanced Magic, internationally-renowned archaeologist, and–most importantly–a dragon.

I suppose you’re wondering why I’ve called you all here today. Just to set your minds at rest, it’s not because I’m hungry.

I mean, I am hungry, but you needn’t worry about that. Really.

I requested the honor of writing this post from Kyle Robert Shultz. He refused, whereupon I devoured him.

Ha ha! A wee bit of humor there. No, I had a su...

Announcing the Fearless Fiction Podcast!

My author platform has now expanded to include podcasts and a YouTube channel. I AM UNSTOPPABLE. TREMBLE BEFORE ME, PATHETIC NON-DRAGONS.

*ahem* Sorry.

I was originally going to call this the KRS Podcast and make it a little more generic about my writing, but I decided to narrow it down and focus on helping authors who are afraid to get their books indie-published. I think this is an important issue that not many other indie-pub podcasts are specifically addressing.

So, welcome to the Fearles...

Beaumont and Beasley: The Ten-Book Plan

I promise, this will be the last time I revise my 2018 writing plans. I think.

No, seriously, I promise. I’ve been doing a lot of brainstorming about my long-term goals for the Afterverse, partly as a response to some issues I’ve been having with my current writing projects. Not only have I solved those problems, but I’ve also come up with a lot more story concepts and an expanded “long game” for my shared universe of stories.

Shall we begin? First off, Beaumont and Beasley Volume 1.

Book Review–Dreamings and Muses by Daley Downing

My first book review of 2018! (And first blog post of 2018, period!) I’m planning to finally pulverize my enormous TBR and use it for a whole bunch of book reviews, so if all goes well, there should be a lot more posts like this in the coming months.

I’ll be honest–much as I love the medium of short stories in general, I read a lot of them that I really don’t like. And usually, the reason I don’t like them is because the author went out of his or her way to make the story dark, depressing, an...
