Many encouraged me to do this over an extended number of years. I never felt the timing was right, and refused every opportunity. I succumbed to some serious encouragement a year ago to attend a local writers' conference. While it was truly a God thing and His perfect timing, I know this book would still be ideas in a folder hanging out under my desk had I said, "no" once again. I've since joined a local writers' group as well. It does take some time and commitment, but the encouragement and knowledge you'll gain exceeds the investment. You'll make wonderful new friends, too. (less)
