The world now understands that we don’t have the luxury to sit back and wait for ISIS’s continued expansion in Iraq and Syria. The more territory this group holds and the more resources it steals, the more equipped it will be to expand its regional presence and inspire supporters worldwide.

3 Things to Remember About 9/11 and America
Thirteen years ago, marks a time in history that no one will ever forget. To honor the memory of those that have fallen, I started out writing a terrorism-related post about the attacks that happened on that day. Then it dawned on me that I would prefer to write something uplifting and positive, even though we are facing an increase in terrorist threats, a topic that I write about a lot. This time, instead, I would like to take a moment and celebrate what makes our country—I mean YOU—so freaking great.

ISIS in Mexico? Missing planes in Libya? Another 9/11?
One thing I promise: I do not write as a Republican or Democrat. I don’t draw conclusions about CT or security issues based on any political leaning. Both parties suck in understanding the Middle East. Both have made massive mistakes in the region, and occasionally both of them have made decisions that I would praise.
